Possible Auradin Build Note: Exspensive!!

I need help. I have only played zeal/smite, defiance, and sacrafice paladins. So this is a whole new breed of crazy for me. This build is extremely extremely expensive so i need to know if it even works. If you are going to post explain yourself in detail, put in examples, and also read everything before posting. I took alot of time setting this up and Im trying to trade/find the items I need.

The build works off the glitch that even though the shock, freeze, fire auras are +oskill you can still use the Synergy of Resist Fire/Cold/Light/Salvation to increase damages. This unfortunately only works for you and not auras off your merc. Here is what I am thinking so far.

Would be interesting to try out.

You wont catch me putting all that expensive gear on my merc in HC though. I would probably try this in SC though. I would be interested to see how well it works.

Not 100% relevant but if you do decide to build this yourself you may want to consider phoenix for the redemption aura or a hoj to stack with dragon also a coa with 15res/-15 req jewel is better then hel/um same stats one socket also you could either have two or add a ber or something else maybe a cham

Look at the pvm aura guide in the sticky. It's awesome

Anyway, it's not a glitch that you can synergize the auras. It works just like ctc or charges or oskills.

I would use hand of justice as the weapon. A lvl 14 holy fire aura won't do much. Also, skip aura gear on your merc. Escpecially dream. Unsynergized elemental auras won't do much besides looking cool. I think you should look into the guide.

I see why you say use HoJ but the thing is if you do that you would lose the fanaticism and the fact that it would be a concentration zealer would not work. Where this is the only viable mixture I could come up with for melee that would have both concentration and fanaticism. I will throw together a test guy on open and test it out. Also can you link the guide cause the only one I see is the elemental templar.

this build seems to focus on auras less than the typical auradin builds i've seen...

if you use a dream helmet but not a dream shield, you cut your holy shock level in half since you aren't utilizing the ability to stack the auras. the same goes for using dragon armor but not a HoJ weapon.

if you're planning on having 9 offensive aura charms you should be alright though

Why should he use offensuve aura charms? They won't boost auras from items.

Also, why need fana? You're basically sacrificing a weapon slot for some ias which can be otained through an amulet and gloves etc.

i think that if you are going for beast/concentration, you should just completely ignore the dream runeword and go dual Dragons (armor and shield). with 20 points in resist fire and salvation, that gives you fully synergized lvl28 holy fire aura, which is nothing to sneeze at. and with an Infinity on your merc, about half of fire immune monsters will lose that immunity (i think).

my auradin is dual dreams, dragon armor and hand of justice, giving me dual lvl30, fully synergized holy fire and holy shock auras, and i run lvl25 conviction as my main aura. then i attack with 1point vengeance (slvl6), which is nearly fully synergized (only missing the added cold damage).

i've heard that running dream on both yourself and your merc isn't optimal since they flash back and forth, meaning your merc's inferior pulse damage is firing instead of your fully synergized pulse damage. not sure if that's true.
