posion / skelly hybrid question

Ok I have a full trangs set i want to be able to rush people and run pindle and diablo. I have read a few of the post here is what I came up with:

P&B Skills:
1 Teeth
1 Bone Armour
5 PDagger
20 PExplosion
20 PNova
1 CE
1 Bone Armor

Summoning Skills:
20 Raise Skeletons
20 Skeleton Mastery
1 clay golem
1 golem mastery
1 summon resist

Curse Skills:
1 Amp
1 Weaken
1 Terror
1 Decrep
1 Iron Maiden
1 Life Tap
1 Lower Resist


is there any changes i should make ?

the problem i am still unsure is do i max skeleton mastery or pump it up til 10 and max posion dagger ??? I will get DV

Something I've considered is getting Revives, to aid my skeletons, since I'm relying on minions for meat shields while the psn works, not as a primary source of damage (as with my skellimancer). which, of course, would take a few prereq points, but one in revives + adders should hopefully be enough to provide a half-dozen extra bodies in addition to the skels.

With a Venomancer/Hybrid....you really don't need revives. If you want to help your skeletons...get a Might merc instead.

Besides, with this type of build....you should focus on maxxing all of the poison skills,skeletons and mastery. Really only need just 1 point into curses...if you have enough + skills.

but to do that you would need like 112 skills which is going to come up short so you have to cut something. what would it be ?

i'd personaly go with 1 point in Pexplosion and 20 in Pdagger and Pnova if you were going with max block that is. I'm using that dagger that adds to these skills and I use poison dagger quyite a lot cuz I have I nice chance to hit (high dex for max block + % to ar from pdagger) and it has a slow mod on the weapon (which was great against NM diablo) I'm doing great in act5 NM (players8) but I'm not sure how viable it's goignt o be in hell tough, if only I could get a fleshripper ..........

yeah but i am not going to use a dagger i am going to use arm of leoric to help the skellies since i would be using p.nova ..

Use Leoric's to summon all your minions, then switch to the dagger for Poisoning etc. Your minions will remain at the same level they were summoned at, even if you switch. This is called 'pre-buffing' your minions... My Bonemancer does this all the time with Leoric's and Boneshade as the main weapon.
