Poll Confusion

Can anyone explain how polls unrelated to their title keep popping up in threads with a poll? EG: The "can you move your pinkie..." poll thread actually contains a poll about paying for online gaming.How do these polls get mixed up,and why is this problem not fixed? I really hate ending up at random polls.

Huh, that exact incident also happened to me, I think it was while Back/Forward surfing at some point. Took me a couple seconds to realize that the poll I had just contributed to was attached to some other random polled thread. Maybe it only happens after taking the poll?

All Polls take you to a randomly chosen old thead (one per poll) after you click.

Seems to be the other way round , you get taken to a random poll,but why? And if you click on results, you might end up in another place altogether.Really does not make any sense. Webmaster , explain please!!!

It's a bug in the database or something like that.

Only way to fix it is to pull a 2003 type restart.

I like it - it puts old Banned people up where the newbies can look and learn from them.
