Crowd fight at the UFC.

I was there at this particular fight. I was over on the other side of the arena. That's besides the point.

In your analysis of the situation, was there police brutality?

In short, a fight break out between a loud mouth woman and some people behind her. One of the guy shoves another guy into the woman and ran off. Two of them tumbles a few rows down surprisingly with no injury.

A bystander (in black tshirt) stoops over to help another person who got knocked down. Cops arrive on the scene and grabs the first guy they see and judo slams him onto the concrete steps.

If you're the jury, a nice cash settlement for the guy in black tshirt courtesy of the Las Vegas PD?

Well, first of all, when you take into consideration the nature of the event (and the crowd that goes with it) they needed to prevent a riot and they needed to do it right the **** now. They were breaking up a fight that already began and violence, contrary to what many would have you believe, is the quickest and most effective way of doing that.

Now, if you look very carefully at the video, its not really clear that the guy who was "judo slammed" was knocked down by the tumblers, or if he was down before they got to him. He's not one of the guys who bent down to help someone else. You can also clearly see the guy in the white shirt bending down and extending his arm before the tumblers get to them. We are missing the first part of the action, and a lot of the vital part is blocked by other people, so we don't know what the cops saw happening. No way to tell from the video if he was involved in the fight or just someone caught in the crossfire.

And as a side note, who in the world would be stupid enough to pick a fight at the UFC?! You know the security guards aren't going to be your average donuts eating fatman loser.
