Polearm for WW barb?

Hey, I just started a WW barb, and I'm going polearms, because they're awesome. Which ones look the coolest in your opinion? As far as the actual items go, what uniques/runewords should I be setting my sights on? also, should I probably be looking for an act 2 NM might merc, and should I be looking to give him a pride polearm for concentrate too?

Just thought i'd mention that shael'ed hwanin's is decent for leveling in nightmare untill you can get botd

deffinitly the way to go, n for merc get a act2 hell offensive merc (blessed aim) n throw on a edoomcv/thresher + efort + andys and you will own. but, u will also get bored of him after a few runs.

ebotd great poleaxe, definitely. Best WW 2h-weapon around and it also looks COOL

Wait, the great poleaxe is the best 2 handed WW weapon now? What happened to the good old Warpike? I realize it's not a polearm, but it's that comment which caught me off guard.

Pikes swing at 6 frames, while GPAs swing at 4.

Yeah, war pike is a little bit slower than great poleaxe. War pike does more damage, though. All in all the poleaxe is slightly better, but the pike is quite ok and looks even cooler. My ww baba has one
