Poison Nova doesnt finish off players in PvP now?

I have been out of the game since the end of the first ladder ... i rememeber then when i used PN against some pk etc, it lowered hislife to 0 and died ... but now i have used it 2 or 3 times against some act games pkers and it seems to lower players life to 1 ver fast but not kill em ... blizzard has turned PN damage like regular monsters posion damage? is frustrating then ... if u dont have another way to deal damage other than nova u cant finosh off any player with it ...

It's been that way since patch as far as I know. Use Fire golem to get that one pt you need to finish him. That's how I've seen most ppl handle the situation.

And yes im quite sure in the first ladder PN killed players itself alone , I did my self several times and there were no monsters around to finish off or anythin ... or im senile?

... or you can just do one more poison nova when they are at 0 (or 1) health. Test it... tell somebody to stand still and hit nova, watch their life go down, but they still live, now do another nova, they die. That's my strategy on kicker sins, I just stand their like a moron and blast em with Nova's until they die

u need to aim with fire golem...or at least go approximately. teeth u spam in their general direction

@Govenorofcali...i dont beleive poison does that last 1 dmg for kill. im not sure, i dont own a poison necro but have played friends.

It sure does work... I do that all the time. 1 poison nova drops their health, 2 poison nova they die. No bone, no teeth, no golem, no nothing... pure 100% poison nova kills. Come to USWest tonight... i'll show you

if you dont have cta on switch a widdow maker would help with the + to GA for that last HP but i think 2 novas do kill.

Fire Golem = zons can't dodge the aura
Teeth = wind druids love this
Another Nova = way to deal with ES sorcies

Fire Wall has some uses too if you employ 3 piece trang.
