Poison Necro

Can't seem to find a guide for a PvM poison necro. I'd imagine 20-Poison Dagger/Explosion/Nova, and then from here what? And which merc shuld i use? I have an eth bonehew and some armor already lined up for the merc. Any curses?

Actually the PvP guide functions very well in PvM if you pump your curses and put a point in Revive. Sometimes the designations PvP and PvM are not entirely correct.

You only have 3 skills to max for poison... so, you're gonna be a hybrid of some sort. I choose a defiance merc... for skills, I put 1 into each curse, tried bonespear (I use the marrowwalks), .. .bonearmor is awesome help and so is bonewall. I have Full trangs, so I put 1 point into skellies and revives... I find they make good distractions for me, but they are not strong... the rest of my points have been going into clay golem. With that setup, I have enough distractions and my gumby and merc don't die much... and i'm able to spam my curses and nova's without much of a problem.

For gear, I use full trangs, marrowalks, deathsweb, +3P/B ammy, and 2 Nagel rings... thinking of replacing them with BK rings... I got a couple i'm not using.

for a golem i would think about fire goelm and use the curse lower resist.. it works well with your posion and his fire... just a thought tho

Yeah, i was thinken that the fire golem aura would work pretty good with poison becuase if you infect the mob and watch the hp go all the way down to a lil speck, cast fire golem for the 100 dmg and watch the group die. Either that, or wait for the first holy fire burst.

Poison alone kills in PvM so you don't need FG. Recently there has been a discussion about Poison killing in PvP and it turns out that recasting Nova also kills your opponent. So FG has no real use.
