Poison creeper

My poison creeper is only level 8 mostly because of items, but should I level it up people say its good in normal and nightmare. At around level 25 about how much poison damage would it be doing? At level 8 it only does like 25 damage so i'm not sure it'll do much more at 20+

you're right it won't. A lvl 20 only 84-86 damage i dont know the numbers for 20+. only level it up if you are playing a rabies werewolf since its a synergy. I'm currently working on fury/rabies wolf hybrid but its still at a low level (still dont have my main attack fury) and i know it helps in normal. THe only other possible reason i can think of to lvl PC would be if you are using bramble(runeword) armor with the 25-50% poision skill increase but im not sure if it even appies since i have no experience with it. I'd imagine that it would work, but even if you do get lucky and get the 50% boost thats still only 126-129 damage which doesnt seem like, but the vines are pretty smart and the spread effect of the mat might help. Still i'd say no unless you plan to use rabies.

Poison creeper does a lot more against groups than it does against single targets. I dont remember the link though, but it was a link where it explained how poison creeper would apply the 80 or so damage to every single monster, because it would make a " mat " for each monster, and the damage would practically multiply. Anyone remember the link?

never seen the link but the mat effect is prolly pc's best feature. Im not so sure about multiplying the damage but the mat does damage any monster who steps on it, which could be a lot of monsters. I guess if the monster stands on the mat long enough the damage might get reapplied which would be like the multiplication you hinted to.

There was a discussion on this over at the LL by Electric Blue.

http://www.lurkerlounge.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4043

The most interesting thing i gleaned from this very technical discussion was that when the matts target multiple monsters, the poison supposedly does stack with other sources of damage.

Lets say a monster is under rabies, taking damage each frame. Now the PC matts also attack the monster, the monster takes damage from both sources and then rabies overrides and cancels further poison damage from PC.
However in the next frame PC re-applies the poison, and so on.

I havent tested this but as i understand it this was the result of the testing.
I dont know if this makes it more desirable for a rabies druid to use PC instaed of carrion wind?
I guess its a matter of adding another 1k poison damage/ second at groups or having Fury at 20.

on the 'every frame attack state' of the mats, both sources will infect the opponent.
on other states, the highest rate will override.

and for the guide, it is still on the to do list :)

i have recently become the general coordinator of some company and it takes most of my time.
