Poison/Bone hybrid?

So I just acquired a decent Death's Web for free and decided it was time I made my first Necro.

Of course, being someone who has never played a Necro, I rarely hear about anything other than Bone Necros. So I started to wonder whether or not a hybrid would be possible? hks' guide is decent but outdated and advocated max block and Marrowalks, which won't be possible for the build.

I checked out skill damage and it would come to about either 4k Nova/3k Spear, or 7.5k/2k. Are these viable numbers? More importantly, is the character viable at all if I only plan on using plain/minor modded 9x skillers? Especially considering the build doesn't allow for max block if I go for 125FCR.

It'd most likely be stronger as a pure poison or bone necro. However, any necro with prison and/or dim vision can solo the game quite safely. You wont kill fast in high player settings, well ok - a decked out poison necro is relative fast...

Actually I was looking more at PvP. Maybe not high-end dueling, just enough for pubs.

Mostly I'm worried about the numbers (4k/3k or 7.5k/2k), I'm not sure they're really enough to work particularly efficiently. Or would 75FCR work well enough? That would give me more room to work for damage gear.
