Plz can i have some info on 5th act

I playing d2 offline and im in nightmare mode i have a really good shield with i think 3-4 diamonds defense of 70, chance to block 60, and resist all 57 percent. qua kek just gave me the 3 runes for saving his guys i dont now how to put them in order or even if its worth trying to find a 3 socketed shield to use for it any info would be greatly appreciated.

1. Defense means nothing, unless you are shooting for the 20,000 range.
2. What type of character are you playing?
3. Are you dying at all? If so, to what type of attack? Melee or ranged? Elemental or physical?

Qual Khek's reward is meant to advertise the concept of "runewords." Do a google search of "diablo 2 runewords" and you'll find the basics. The runes he gives you will make "Ancient's Pledge" in a shield.

Im a Neco lvl 66 i like to build up my summoned guys and my barbarian hireling i dont die half as much as when i have all of them there helping me. i have about 15 runes saved up but i dont know what to do with them because my version and the rune word version are different so there just there n my stash. i really want a good resistance because im close to Baal and i now once i go to Hell mode its very hard and i saw somewhere on here you start with something like negative 50 or something.

It's actually -100 resistance (about as low as you can go, not counting the stacked resistances) for hell. If your version is different than that from the runeword one, why won't you do an update? Neither your characters nor your game will suffer, you'll just get some additional content, such as the runes of course. When you update, you'll be able to use all the runewords :)

thanks craez i did that and i guess im just fonna stick with my shiels cause quak keks rune arent that great

Boogy When i look at the runewords in on this site they either say version 1.09 1.10 or 1.11 my version says its 1.12 i already tried a runeword bow twice but just the properties of the runes transfered and nothing else. I dont know if that helps but how do i update?

Login to close BNET and it'll automatically update you to v1.13.

ok i went to the site but it all look real confusing i couldnt really see any link that said anything about updating, also does it charge you or something? i went to the login but it had to do with you giving all your info and freelancing. It also asked if i wanted to become a gold mem for $25 a month :confused11:

I'm not sure what site you went to, but if you connect to battlenet through the game, there is no charge.

Not all runewords are activated for Single Players. It's one of the ways Blizzard tries to screw over the Single Player community. However, we have a weapon to counter this - if you go to the Single Player Forum, you can download the Runeword Mod (or RWM, as it's affectionately known in the SPF), which will make all runewords available in online play available for Single Players as well. In the same thread, you can download ATMA or GoMule, allowing you unlimited stash capabilities. Best of luck to you!

I've had some "dates" that have not turned out so well because of a misunderstanding over money...:whistling:
