Pls help save my Necro !

I made this Necro when i first started playing DII. He has been laying in my account for a long time now. I have made other characters as I got better in the game and they turned out much better than him.

Now, I got back to playing him now and discovered how bad I was.
I dont want to start him again (being emotionally attached to my first character and all..):smiley:

I don't think it can be done. You're stuck between a summoner with weak minions, and a poisonmancer that lacks damage.

Start over.

Even if you have to start over you can always keep him as memory of your first character. I wish i had done that with my char.... :cry:

Best of luck to you if you try to salvage him though :smiley:

With the way synergies and skills are set up on this version...I think that he cannot be saved...if your sentimental...I would delete him and make a new guy with the same name...RIP.

That looks a lot like the first Necromancer I ever made. :shocked:

If you have the memory/space just leave him as is for the memories.
But my 2 cents is to remake a necromancer. Ed From Russia is correct you have a PnB Necro that won't do any damage and paper summons that will not tank for you.
Some suggestions:
If you are new to necromancers a Fishymancer is the best starter necro imho.
If you like a real challenge go with a mojo/melee mancer or nitromancer.
A boner is nice but imo very very equipment dependent.
A poisoner with trangs gear and a death's web is nice too. ;-)

Guide to your powefull first necro

Step 1: Level on and Throw points in lower resist. Throw more points in corpse explosion.

Step 2: Create an enchantsorc

Step 3: Put enchantsorc + necro in 1 game

Step 4: Summon all your revives and skellies

Step 5: Enchant all the revives + skellies with your sorc.

Step 6: Go outside town, cast Lower resist on the fallen.

Step 7: Ow damn, the monster is fire-immune.

Step 8: Hey, there is a zombie

Step 9: OMFG, ZOMBIE PWNED

Step 10: Damn, that fallen chased me

Step 11: PLOP (corpse explosion)

Step 12: OMFG, FALLEN PWNED

Step 13: The necro and his many friends celebrate their sublime victory

p.s. (optional step, give necro bugged aura, give merc infinity, give necro enigma for telebomb)

:shocked:.......dunno if you are joking I sure hope you are.....summoners shouldn't have lower resist unless they want to blow the point on it or to help other chars.....your setup would entail two CD-keys with two computers I believe and I don't think we are allowed to talk about the bugged aura.......

the lower resist would be to effectively boost the enchant damage. Think 1k-2.5k fire damage on each summon depending on the enchant lvl. It's the only way i see the nec live again and effectively kill. To not encourage multiple cd keys play i suggest you let a friend make a enchantress then.

and if your buddy isn't online you are basically left to run around in nm??? His skeles won't survive anyways since he has one point in RS......I'd think a singer barb with lvl 30+ BO would be more helpful anyways......

why would bo help him? the thing he lacks is damage, revives don't need bo. And if his enchantress buddy isn't online he will just have to play another char then.

well.....he has one point in RS......and with this being his first character I doubt he has any good gear (for merc or himself) to get the first kill to even get revives......using BO probably won't help much in that department either......just get it to hell a5 and use it as a mule or do it for the forges/socket q/imbue quest then scrap the character
