Please advise: L35 Dueler Windy

The whole idea kinda started when i found a L35 Druid helm (+2 Ele, +1 Tornado, +1 Hurricane, other mods) since i already had a L35 Dueling Paladin. I currently have a L33 Druid with stats placed for gear, and all extra will gointo Vita once gear is finalized, but his Skill points remain untouched largely, save for 1 into Oak sage, Arctic Blast, Cyclone Armour, Twister, Tornado, and Hurricane. With the remaining 33 skill points (35 once i gain the 2 more levels), what would be the best shake down for the skills for a Windy? I'm pretty much unfamiliar with druids so i though i'd seek the input of those with more experience.

Thanks in advance.

Windys really need to be about lvl 40-50 to shine. At lvl 35 you can only get 6 hurricane and 12 tornado hard points invested. You could go 1 oak and AB, 10 twist, and 5 cyclone. I think you could carry a spirit sword and sigons/rhyme. give it a try and let us know how it turns out.

This is Non-Ladder. I made him for the challange, and because when built right, he's one of the few builds tha gives my L35 Pally a headache. Spirits aren't an option till ladder goes down.

If it helps, my gear layout is as follows:

Helm: Rare Druid Helm +2 Ele, +1 Nado +1 Hurr, other mods
Armour: Vipermagi or Stealth Mage Plate
Weapon: Suicide Branch
Shield: 170 Def Grim Rhyme Shield
Gloves: Up'd Bloodfists or Magefists
Boots: Waterwalks
Belt: Crafted Caster 9%fcr, 24%fhr, other mods or String of Ears
Amuet: Rare +1 Druid for now while i seen for a rare +2 Ele
Rings: 2 SoJ

I intend on using Tornado as my main attack, but and not sure how best to place the points for optimium value.

If you need to test this against other players I'd be glad to help. If you're on uswest that is. I have a lv41 necro. Although some people wouldn't consider lv41 and lv35 in the same league, I don't think theres too much of a difference considering my vita scs are all pretty crummy anyways (16s and 17s mostly).

If you have a hell rush you can distribute your 47 points like this for optimal dmg and safety:

20 cyclone armor
12 Tornado
6 Hurricane
7 Twister
1 Oak
1 Arctic Blast

Or with no rush you would have to take out of twister and maybe some cyclone, but your skills will be much weaker. I calculated ~1.2k Tornado/~450 Hurricane and 1k elemental absorb with this skill layout, your optimal gear and a hell rush. With a +5 Tornado pelt, dmg reaches 1.4k.
Without a rush, tornado drops to 1k and hurricane to ~300.

Seems decent with a hell rush and should do good against elemental llders with the cyclone armor, and life should be decent with oak and life sc's.

Alrighty. That looks good. Thanks for the math, i'm grateful. As i said, im new to druids, and the obvios choices of skill placement needn't be the best, so i hesitated. Yes i have a full hell rush and have all those points to place.
