A couple of things: I've been talking with Mr.Rizzlan on MSN and we came up with a few interesting points, I know i'm only on the subs list, but I feel it prudent to post these questions anyway to the group...

Uniques and other good drops: Need before greed should be done without having needing to be said?

But, what if a HR drops? (unlikely of course, but it could happen) -- How would we deal with that? Would whoever took it, pass up the next X many drops that they would otherwise claim? Just something to think about.

And one I just thought of: This would of course be softcore ladder, all starting in act 1 normal, and progressing either in one game or a series of games, to act 5, killing baal, in Hell?

Of course. What if two characters or more can make use of an item? Majority vote on which one needs it more?

Good question, definitely something to think about.

Yup, yup, yup and yup.

As for me, I'll take the barbarian or assassin role...Any suggestions for a nice build? I haven't played either class in the last couple of years.

Assassin would be nice, for the shadow master and death sentry? I mean, 2 pallies, a barb and a fury druid, melee is pretty much covered, support roles are kinda thin though =\

I'd suggest a lightning trapper, cause the other traps don't seem as nice to me, plus it means we'd have all the elemental types covered I think? cold/fire sorc if someone picks sorc and then cold from the ele druid, lightning from the 'sin...

and.. a vote on the who needs it more thing, would work I guess. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Fine by me, I'd prefer to play a 'sin. Am I wrong saying no one has taken a barb yet? I think shouts will be immensely helpful to all of us.

Yeah. I would pick barb, but I already have a barb and have never played an elemental druid, so that for me, is ideal. This is all about trying something new for me =D heh.

Alright guys, any chance of getting some comfirmation on who will actually be able to do this today, just to get an idea if we need to move some char types about or ditch extra ones in favour of crowd control builds? Given that its norm, i think everything should be alright with the listed chars..

But yeah.. a roll-call would be real nice for, y'know, the guy on the bench so to speak =P

Ohh and Dace convinced me to go pure fire zon instead so i will go Immo arrow with a strong Valk.
It's not like immunes will be a problem

The most important part is to have fun here. Remember beating the game isn't that hard. All we need is some key characters and the rest can vary. According to me A fisher, a zealot and a barb pretty much covers anything in the game. The rest just add up to the owning

But hey I see no one is playing Necro. Add fishy necro to my Char que rizzlan
