Funny thing happen in NM game. I was doing a baal run and without warning at all when the minions died there was like a 1 sec and was hostiled and killled. It basically happened all at one time. like some 6 people int he game died that day. Is there a way they are hostiling without having to go back to town. Kind of confused about that. Does anyone know of anythign like that.

Blizzard is too hit or miss, and they'd all have to be bunched together. If 6 people died, I'd say an insane Multishot. Tornado maybe, but that'd take exquisite positioning of all of the players.

I saw killed before hostiled a few times lately. i still remember how a necro, and (in a different game) an "innocent" (=staf using) sorc died to TPPK just next to my chars.

TPPK'ers are nothing but kiddish terrorists in this game. I wish Blizz could act like G. Bush. But the reality might be: Blizz and all such in-game terrorists might be just like former Iraq and b laden - who knows if there is any connection or not...

Enchanted X (donno) + act3 merc's GS -> dead sorc

But TwinJava!!!! They ARE acting like George Bush! They released the patch, and then declared victory (mission accomplished) over the hackers. Almost a year later the problem still exists and people are still dying in masses with no word about what they are doing from the higher ups except, "We're working on it"!!!

one side over by right area where u are standing semi behind a short wall. most people were casting from there. Tp was right behind us, in the back. The high level sorc was doing most of the killing. What is this tppk hack? Can someone explain?

Tppk is where a player casts spells, then tps to town and hostiles and the spells keep going and kill players. This can be done manually, but most of them use a script.

That's not 100% accurate. To manually do it would require great speed by the player to actually get it on time.

There's a few steps to take.

1) Make a tp
2) Enter it
3) Hostile

If you can do all that in under a second then you've successfully pulled a manual tppk with high percent results.

This tppk things are a bit more complicated then that, especially with BS and GA.

nothing to do with standing by TPs -- with one keystroke, the "uber" script-kiddies can cast TP, go through portal, and hostile everyone

i really dont understand why blizz didnt put a timeron hostiling after taking a TP -- that would eliminate tppk

So... Lucious... what did kill y'all that day? Did you ever get a look at what character class it was?

Since most of the TPPK users are Necros or Zons a lot of HC players won't play with Necros or Zons they don't know.

For all you theorists... he was in NM so it could have been any number of high lvl chars that mow'd the group down.

There are a few channels & forums where you can play with people you know who aren't into PKs.
