Pit Runs?

Sup Sup.. I have heard that Pit runs can drop very good elite 5os, and 6os items. I was wondering, is this true? and if so, do many people do this?

The answer to your question is : yes yes yes :D
More players in a game and the chances of more drops increase. Another factors is doing pitruns with 0 MF! :p 0 MF increases the chances for item drops that are normal, superior, socketed items, ethreal and so on!

The pit, the mausoleum, the ancient tunnels, and the world stone keep are among the highest monster level areas in the game in hell difficulty, so they are definitely the place to look for socketed or socketable elites. Add to that the fact that pit, maus, and tunnels are pretty easy for hell areas, and you'll see why they are popular. Some builds are better suited for one area or another. Pit runs are great! Don't take your cold Sorc down there tho, unless your Merc rules. Take a friend for fun and more drops.

Have Fun

Not only that, but its a great place to level since the monsters aren't that dangerous.

I think it's worth mentioning here that you don't necessarily have to be in one of those areas to find great stuff. Over the last week or three I've found good loot in the ice caves in Act 5, the desert in Act 2, and the Kurasts in Act 3. Stuff like Wizspikes, a light Rainbow Facet, a couple Dwarf Stars, and a ko rune.

If you get tired of looking at the popular mfing areas, try someplace different and random. You might be pleasantly surprised!
