Correct me if i'm wrong but i believe the golden chest drops more items (quantity not quality) if there are more people in the game. I say this because when i open it in a 1 or 2 player game i'm lucky to have 2 magic item drops with some gold. But if i open it in an 8 player game the chest practically rains out items. I donÂ´t think this is correct. According http://www.diabloii.net/items/item-generation.shtml any item drop is influenced of mf - it does not matter if you open a chest or kill a monster. So every 12.5 runs I get an elite set or unique item. I'm working on comparing this to Meph runs right now.. which look like they may be better, but TOP end items and exp isn't available in Meph runs.
