Pit question

Does the chest in the pits level 2 ever drop anything decent? I've never gotten anything but garbage from it. Anyone else have better luck?

Gheed's is probably the best I've gotten from there. A friend of mine once got two uniques at the same time when he opened it (one normal and one elite, but not an elite that was worth anything). Once I got two green amulets from it, but it was those two crap ones that you find all the time.

You can get almost anything in the game from the pit level 2 uber chest. Exceptions may be Tyrael's might, Windforce & COA. I've heard people are getting some goodie stuff from that chest. Of course, a zod rune may only be found in act 5 as well.

Pit (lvl 1 and 2) is areas lvl 85 and chests there have the same lvl (85) - "uber" or not. It means that items qlvl 85 or lower can be drpped from them.

It CAN drop Windforce [Hydra Bow (Qlvl 85), Windforce (Qlvl 80)] or Zod rune (Qlvl 69) but not Crown of Ages (Qlvl 86) or Tyrael's Might (Qlvl 87).

Zod drop is NOT limited to act 5.

Probability of good drops from chests is lower than from special / unique monsters. Chests have no bonuses according quality of drops - as far I know.

The only time I got uniques from that chest, one was a crappy armor and the other was a pair of 10% ll/11 str Dracul's. Incidentally, I've found more quality items clearing the first lvl and horking with my barb rather than doing the same to the second lvl.

I've found a CoA in the pit, and someone in here mentioned that he'd found Tyreal's Might.

The only thing I know can't be found in the Pit is those Baal charms that can have some insane stats (or can be cubed to get insane stats).

Yes everything can be dropped by the monsters in the pit, but this is about what the chest lvl2 can drop..

OT: Hmm... Ligemeget hvor man kommer er der altid en skandinav (eller 10). "Edvin Medvind" er forøvrigt en sang af et af mine favorit bands: bob hund.

Ikke verst! Det er utrolig noen ganger... jeg var altså en tur i Sydney. Satt på en netcafe og spilte Counter-Strike, de finnes over alt i den byen.. skulle bare ned en tur og kjøpe en coca-cola, da traff jeg på en pike jeg gikk i klasse med hjemme -.- Måtte klype henne i armen!
