physical immune fighting with werewolf ?

if i have a werewolf build, how am i supposed to fight the physical immunes ?

is it possible for a druid werewolf to solo hell while not running away from pi's ?

just curious... my gf is building one and i don't want her having the same problem her sorceress has (running away from cold immunes, or in this case physical immunes)

i'm assuming there are weapons easily found out there adding enough elemental damage to take things down....just not sure about hell level

A B-Star/Tiamat's Rebuke combo on weapon switch is probably the most effective way, but you can also shop for a high Lightning damage wand in Hell Act1 that can do the job.

Hi welcome,

THere are 2 billion ways to for a werewolf to annilate PI's. Im quite serious. Not really, but enough.

**** Use the IK 4 piece setup with gives 1200+ elemental dmg combined. Or go even further and get 5 pieces.

***Use Atma's Amulet to create AMP curse.

***** Use Lacerator on Weapon siwtch to AMP.

* FInd a godly rare weapon with chance to AMP. Should be 5 stars but the chances of it dropping are next impossible.

*** Hire an act 1 merc and arm her with witchwild for chance to AMP.

** Use BSTAR, tiamets, buriza, azure, anything with elemtal dmg etc..

***** FAMINE runeword

**** WW can easily branch 2 trees. Posion with RABIES. Read the links on sticky above and read the synergy rabies trick with CARRION RING.

*** Call a friend to help out or go pubby games.

** Hire an Act 3 merc. Act 1 mercs do more dmg and endgame are better thus 2 stars vs 3 stars.

** Can go Fireclaws. Takes alot of skills to make this effective for a ww so thus 2 stars again.


I rate Lacerator as the best option becuase of several reason. FIrst the lacerator isnt there to kill but to activate the chance to amp. 33% meaning 1 fury will activate it. And the activation is based on hits. So even if hes phyiscal immune, hitting him gives a chance to amp. AMP dmg is simple. Sort for the curse AMPLIFY dmg. Now what physical Immune monsters are is that they have 100% physical resistance, thus = immunity. When AMP curse is in effect, the curse does -100% physical resistance. Thus any form of physical attack will now do dmg while the AMP curse remains. The reason I favor this approach is because your a WW meaning lots of physical dmg. Thus switching to an elemental weapon you are sacrificing dmg unless your built that way.

EDIT: also this keeps you relying on just yourself. Like if your merc dies, etc, if merc doesnt chance/activate amp.

Now I see your girlfriend's tanking for you. Say what you will about that.

Sorry to say this is not an option for a WW druid. Thats because in shifted form you can only do druid attacks.
