Permission to speak freely??

Hello!

I know this forum for 3 days now. It was introduced to me by someone on the diablo channels saying it was very good.

2 days ago i posted a guide for a new summoner on the necromancer strategy forum.

All i got back from replies was: "pffff another guide with new names, different items..., delete it".

Then today i posted something in the trade forum, it was my offer of a Beast Berserker Axe.

One of the replies was from a guy whom i was negotiating another item with.
Suddenly a reply from the moderator: "Read the rules, cant discuss other items then topic says" and he closed it!!!


I do things like this all the time in the battle.net forums and i never encountered any problems.

Be more friendly rpg forums! because u wont see me here again ever!!!

Who is this post addressed to? You're addressing issues you have with two other forums in here, why not post it to the people you have an issue with if you're looking for some sort of resolution?

As far as I can tell ,and as you say yourself, your trade issue was addressed by Fercil the European trade moderator. And I see nothing rude in the way the Necros reponsed to you. True, I can appreciate it wasn't the response you wanted but I don't think anyone was out of line or offensive to you. Perhaps meet them half way?

Yes, you'll find things are a little different here than on the battle.net forums. :clap:

i am new to forums too, heh i offending the rules too. but i don't make it again. the reason is that there r nice ppl on d2net u know. hope u read this anyway. by the way, i ain't nice.

dont worry you will learn... i did stuff like you when i first joined these forums.... aslong as you dont keep doing the same mistakes i dont think people will care...

yeah everything will be alright, as long as you dont ask when the damn ladder resets or "how do you get an anni?" or any more questions that have been repetitavely posted on this site and answered so many times it makes you sick to even read the posts. From my experience the community forum seems a bit nicer then the other forums, so stick around, or not I dont really care :howdy:

I honestly don't get it why the mod would close the thread unless it was being done by the origional poster...why should he be punished for what another poster does?

So things started off a little rough for you, no big deal. Although I was a lurker on this board for almost three years before I started posting, it still took me awhile to get my sea legs once I stepped out of the shadows of ... er ... 'lurkerdom' (or whatever you want to call it :lol: ).

This is indeed a very friendly community; however, to a new person, other's comments can sometimes appear hyper-critical or mean even though they aren't meant to be. Hang around and take Elly's advice - meet us half way. We're a pretty nice bunch ... though perhaps a bit barmy.

And me? Hey, I'm the friendliest person on this board -- provided I've had my morning coffee.

I'm afraid your necromancer guide was a rehash of existing guides, basically.

The culture in the necromancer forum is only interested in either better writeups of existing guides, or new innovative / good guides. They cant feign interest in "yet another skelemancer" guide (or whatever).

The best thing to do would have been to check out the existing guides and see prior to posting whether yours brought anything new to the table.

look, we don't need another guy who has trouble in the necro forum and then fills the community forum with dirty laundry, I will spare you the details of what happenned to the last guy

what I mean is, do as Elly says, keep it in the appropriate forum
