A new character must be played for 2 hours to get rid of the "expires in 10 days " message below it. This is most common when you make a mule character. What people do is place the mule in a game and then go do something else to get the character its 2 hours of logged on time. In fact 98% of the normal difficulty games you see listed have something to the effect of "park mules here" Which slightly OT is the best place to level in

You can choose to play them for 2 hours also. Perming mules is rather time consuming without a second computer.

If you decide you wan tto take a break and say catch a movie on TV then take your mule and make a PERM MULE game or find one and sit him in it and go wathc the movie. i suggest checking back a bit later as if everyone leaves odds are you will drop and not burn him in.

I know many people that play thier character for 2 hours, then smag some belt or boots and use that one imbue. You can also get someone to rush you to Act 5 for that socket quest and then let him be a mule. Some even go as far as rushing the full game, get forges and sockets.......

i have 2 puters so buring them in while I play is pretty easy, and I even burn in other peopel mules for them.

It's not hard to get a lot of mules burned in. Any time you're not on your computer, take a mule that has the "expires in XX days" message, and simply join a game where people are questing. They get more experience, you get a mule burned in. Games don't always last the two hours you need, sometimes they do. Sometimes might take a second or third game to get a mule burned in. If you're in the habit of doing this any time you're not on your PC you'll find your mules getting burned in fairly quickly.
