Well, here's my take: REAL pedophiles are out of control with impulses and cravings. Adults don't provide any release for them; it must be children for satisfaction. I'll bet the pollers, many of them, would have sex with adults as preference but merely fantasize of children once in a blue moon or w/e. I don't think being aroused by a child once in a while counts as pedophilia if the main preference is adults.

I voted for the apples option. I think the people who voted for vomit are trying to be 'heroic' or w/e, even if it's private herosim.

Additionally, it wouldn't surprise me if many teens are on this site so of course they want to have sex with other teens their age which is 'children's' age, technically.

Plus, people who are 'wired in' to the internet to the point of visiting the OT forums are a little more likely to have been exposed to some array of porn from their vast experience on the web. It's not like the selection pool of subjects is 'normal' or random.

So maybe we need to take the results with a grain of salt. It is afterall a diablo fan site forum, lol. There are all kinds of factors which would suggest the 40% 'pedophiles' are not actually pedophiles at all. Many are likely teenagers who are prone to experimentation.

That's one thing that makes prosecuting teen porn difficult, incidentally. A pretty high percent of teen porn is teens and teens.

That pretty much applies to any taboo I think. That's why some employment applications have a question like "Have you ever thought of killing someone?" or "Have you ever thought about robbing a store?" Who hasn't? But for most people, their first instinct is to answer no, because that is the socially acceptable answer. It tells the person looking at the answers that you're not being honest.

That doesn't mean everyone who answered vomit are lying though. There are a number of fetishes out there that make my stomach churn just hearing that it exists. :yuck:

Please refrain from name callings and accusations, but still feel free to debate. Disagreeing is, after all, what keeps threads running.

As for the voting result, it was probably doomed from the beginning. The standard "haha, I'll vote this alternative just to be funny"-factor shall never be underestimated.:yes:
Usually, those who vote for the most extreme option do it just for the fun of it, not because it is their real view. On the other hand, those who actually have the most extreme opinion usually never vote in these polls at all.

According results i think ill agree on it. Its really just an internet poll, but at the same time it sound like finding excuses.
Like if they did the same poll on the street with the same results they would say it was a street on the way to a factory where many depressed men work.
You can always explain things. But in this case ok it really seems like its not to be taken seriously.

if i wanted to call him a pedo i would have just came out and said it...i don't think he is...instead i said that the way he chose to present his arguements/unsupported scientific claims make his words look like he is one...subtle difference i agree but when it comes right down to it...it's a difference.

someone skim reading my post or someone with bad reading comprehension may have missed my meaning.
