This whole thing has become the new witchhunt,replacing that of the middle ages.The US especially have gone way overboard! Remember the swiss kid who was locked up for touching a girls p****y?
Those weeks in jail did much more damage than any act of sex could ever have done.

I 100% agree with the witch hunt statement. Its bad enough seeing it happening on the news or in the papers, but I've seen it happen in person. There are lots of places where if the community finds out you're listed on one of the sex offender lists, no matter what the reason is or how long ago it was, they WILL run you out of town.

You make it sound like its a bad thing.

In Georgia (I think) if you commit armed robbery in a place where minors are working you are placed on the sex offenders register for life, which limits where you can live and work and your ability to leave the state. While I do not condone armed robbery this seems to be a misplaced application in that the measures are not actually required to protect children from sexual assault from that individual.

There is also the recent phenomenon of kids sending their gf/bf/others naked photographs of themselves. There has been a number of cases where kids who either sent or received those photographs have been saddled with child pornography charges, which in some states will place them on the sex-offenders register for life.

These are not the only holes/quirks in sex offense law, but lynch mobs are not usually inclined to go to the effort to find out whether the guy they're throwing bricks at is on the register because he was 18 and his gf was 17 or because he raped numerous six year old children.

as to the kids sending naked pics of each other to each other, some places are now going after the parents, as legally IT IS the parents who OWN the device, which makes them responsible for what happens on that device or how that device is used for.

It's probably the same area as rape fantasies or such --- ok to discuss, but if it happens in reality, most people will be enraged and for a good reason.

The primary issue with pedophilia is lack of consent and ability to give valid consent, and that is mostly proportional with age no matter the culture. For example, someone compared 17 yr. old sex in the US, or 14 in europe or 11 in africa. No matter the laws involved, I think you'll have no problem agreeing that a 11 yr. old has very little in the way of making decisions or ability to educate him/herself on it.
The result of this inability to decide and its abuses often border on slavery, and the idea of pedophilia or some hypothetical "child sexuality allure" becomes secondary, to the extent that anything sexual is probably the child's least problem.

a further addition i forgot to put in my earlier post:

the only difference from a cop/prosecutor and a criminal is the level of intelligence of the person....what i mean is this:

a smart criminal becomes a cop/prosecutor and not only gets away with his crimes, but he and his crimes are protected by the entire society of humans.

a stupid criminal becomes the "criminal" that gets caught/hunted down and punished/destroyed/executed/life imprisonment-rot in jail for his crimes.

the single individual running for his life, away from a LEGION of SWAT and snipers, local police, state police, national/federal police, U.S. marshals, dogs, helicopters, 25-50 police cars, the entire human citisenry, every security camera mounted all over the country, the media/news, AMBER alerts, etc..

the single individual has a hand gun, and the legion has the heavy artilary/weaponry and many other things i listed and what i didn't list.

a legion against 1 person...is that 1 person really that much of a threat u need a legion to deal with him ???

every time i see this, that individual looks like a poor prey to me, and i feel sorry for him and root/cheer/hope for his unfortunately impossible/DOOMED attempted in complete vain escape against the legion of bloodthirsty raptors hunting his rear down hungrily wanting to tear-rip him apart and devour him. reveling in his helplessness and their own OVERwhelming power used on him.

Sure, cops, prosecuters and people who work with them are on each others side, they cover for each other, they back each other up, maybe even crossing the line a few times for some percieved greater good. However, criminals do it too, even worse, and with greater corruption. If the criminals are helping each other out, cops and those who back them up have to resort to using the same sort of weaponry or tactics if good is to prevail.

If the enemy has machine guns, well, you got to get machine guns for the good guys too (on the spot metaphore).

criminals never work together, this is made sure of, as it would give them some power.

take jails for example. criminals are killing each other, instead of banding together and forming an army to take on and kill the guards and hopefully escape somehow and get their freedom, which is no different than the freedom idealism mantra of the U.S. used in it's foreign afairs policies and "goody-too-shoe-ness" jusification sticking it's you know what into other countries and their affairs.

yes, a few criminals have managed to get assualt weapons, and even some body armor, in that famous/infamous bank robery shooting in the U.S., i forgot where...either hollywood or las vegas...i think...two guys rob a bank and they got full kebler body armor and asualt weapons and the local police can't do nothing and it's being done in broad daylight. though i still will never understand why a cop couldn't put a bullet through their face (as faces are rarely covered, and "full body armor" is never really full because of this. the only true "full body armor" is in ancient times with full plate armor including a helmet that completely covered the entire head with only slits for the eyes to see out of).

but 99.999999....9% of criminals do NOT have asault weapons and certianly not body armor, where the cops always do, if not the local cops, than the SWAT or whoever they call in for help...

As in many posts, I've stated that should some one mess with with any little girl, especially sexually, in my presence, I WILL execute them on the spot, gladly sacrificing myself in whatever is decided to be done to me for that little girl and all the rest of the little girls of the world that are/were/would be on the pedophile's "list of possible next victims". pedophilia to me is a crime. a crime deals with reality, not fantasy. i believe in the oldest human right of all, freedom of thought. Pedophilia only concerns the pedophiles attraction to children.
Every pedophile or normal man is welcome to justify or condemn whatever he wants. If we stop listening to people ne matter how freaky their oppinion seems we start being ignorant and are guilty of all possible wrongdoings which may arize from it.
