    Well, I haven't posted a pat thread in a while, since most of my recent stuff has been boring and cookie-cutter... Not that this is so much better, but it's at least optimizied and kinda neat. Anyway, I never got around to sharing my Meph Barb that inspired the guide, so here goes!

    Leveling:

    I honestly don't remember much anything of the leveling, since I started about a year ago before I took a little break from the game (which probably had something to do with him being ridiculously boring to level), then picked it back up in February and patted him. He was created specifically for Meph runs, but originally as a Concentrate Barb. I leveled to 82 before doing Throne and Baal so I could wield my Stormlash that I've had forever but never got around to using before then (Meph dropped it originally, so that's neat, because it's SUPER rare off him - awesome roll too). He ran Meph until 85, but he was too slow for my tastes, there was zero danger involved (boring), and he couldn't carry a lot of MF.

    I shelved the Meph Barb project until about a month ago when I started a Kicksin, realized how completely awesome Lawbringer is, and began scratching my head thinking of builds could put it to use by exploiting the Decrepify while not being especially hindered by the low damage. I realize I'm not the first person to put it on a Frenzy Barb, but somehow I missed the concept, or didn't realize just how good it was, until that point.

    I got a lot of flak in the guide thread for continuing to run Meph (and suggesting others to do so) when I don't really need most of what he drops, but I enjoy it, and the odd surprise here and there makes it worth it. He drops a lot of staple pieces, which keep my stashes full. I don't care how many Reaper's Tolls I have, one more is always welcome. I pick up and stash most of the useful items, even if I have more than I need, just in case someone needs one at some point.

    I put myself down for a set of 5k runs in the SPF Elite Runners thread. Being 650 runs in at present, I have a ways to go, but I've been less than dedicated as of late. Average run time is hanging right around the 45 second mark, but as he levels up, that should drop a little with my rising hit chance.

    I didn't really note any amazing finds from Meph before I respecced to Frenzy and started counting my runs, but I've been keeping track since, so here is a summary of the shining stars thus far:

    What I'm really looking for in my 5k runs project is SoJ, Mara's, Metalgrid, and useful ethereal uniques like Skullder's, Treks, Shaftstop, Gaze, Andariel's, Reaper's, etc.

    The Mara's thing is really starting to bug me. I don't have a single one, but I have:

    8x Highlord's Wrath
    4x The Rising Sun
    3x Crescent Moon
    2x The Cat's Eye
    1x Atma's Scarab
    1x Saracen's Chance
    1x The Eye of Etlich

    All of which are the same rarity as Mara's... Stupid RNG.

    I'm wondering, Im sure I read sometime about a bug in Sanctuary aura. Doesn't it make leechable the un-leechable?
    I'm asking because in your guide you mention meph's 0% leechability

    Sanctuary breaks the leech penalty on undead (except skeletons, which have a leech coefficient of zero). It doesn't do anything for Meph, being a demon.

    The only real benefit of the Sanctuary aura on a Meph-runs is that it will knock back any Blood Lords that get in your way, but that's pretty minimal. The real benefit on Lawbringer is the Decrepify, which makes it exponentially safer.

    Same here - I have two (26/24) - one traded, one found (I think), and I have found every other piece of jewelery. Until last month, I had not found a Rising Sun, and then found two in about a two day span. Crazy.

    Also, great job on tweaking up a barb for MF running. I played barbs almost exclusively in v1.09 and they were the absolute best MF runners.

    I haven't played my frenzier (or any D2 at all for that matter) in some time, but i remember when that grief/lawbringer light-bulb turned on in my head.
    It made the game stupid-easy, and so much fun. :)
