So let's just say you're making a group of Sorcs to play on Ladder, plan is to just log on and play with the other 3 folks most all the time. If you were about to do this, what would your 4 builds be? Keep mercs in mind, runewords MIGHT be able to be Doom/Inifinity/CMoon etc, Insight for certain, but regardless let's hear it. Plan could be as simple as different trees, or 2 hybrid casters and 2 melee/bear sorcs, whatever you can come up with!

What would you do?!

play with them most or all the time ?

1 cold
1 light

as for mercs

1 might
1 holy freeze
1 whatever other aura you want

What would you do?!
1. One pure L-sorc that use CL as as attack while using infy at herself.
2. One Nova energyshield sorc to tank, bodyguard for that infy sorc.
3. Nova Fireball sorcs to helps those two and to kill broken L-immunes faster. This sorc is 200fcr and does telejob for team. Insight polearm at switch to full mana bulbs when team needs mana.
4. Nova Enchant sorc, to enchant rogues. BO items at switch

After infy, so few immunes, so no need to for act2 mercs. Rogues are iron maiden proof and can kill those unbreakable double immunes fast enough.
Four rogues, one with harmony to get vigor. One with slow items. One with fana-aura. Maybe last with holy freeze aura-bow. All with knockback.

Something like that, to keep all team members alive run after run. Cold sorc is too slow for fast area clearings, thats why left out.

i would recommend for mercs at least one prayer merc with insight equipped so u get double healing as well as the mana regen, one holy freeze (possibly wearing infinity as i'm not sure if a sorc holding infinity would have a far enough range) for the slow, possibly another prayer merc with same setup or a barb using something like azurewrath for it's sanctuary aura or if ur really rich last wish for the might aura and more importantly lifetap
it's a good idea to have ctc curse in order to increase mercs survivability an act 2 merc with reapers troll wud be quite good to (decrepify) or if u really fancy it a lifetap wand on switch for tough sections.

sorcesses the most party friendly sorc is an enchantress as it will give all 3 mercs huge fire damage and ar as well as the enchanter ofc could use a demon machine with razortail to get 99 pierce with exploding arrows so u'll be able to hit many enemies (the explosion radius benefits from the full enchant bonus). I would also go with the cl sorc as already mentioned as they rock. other sorc most logically would be a cold sorc of some sort Forber or perhaps a blizzie, both awesome builds too. with this setup you would be well set.for any immunites.

edit have to disagree with enchanters being boring making one using bows right now.

oh, you can get a kelpie snare in one of the mercs, the 75% slower enimies mode plus holy freeze (from some merc aura) plus decrepify(from some merc´s reapers troll). Will literally stop the mobs.

4) a dual dream bear sorc for tank, dmg 65k, along with blessed aim merc holding another infinity; not to mention this bear sorc will also be the enchantress of the group as she will max out enchant, warm, and fire mastery.

shouldn't need tank with that firepower so put the last one as max static + something sorc maybe with ES/TK result => monsters have 50% less hp, or well that tank sorc has spare points for static too? have some FCR gear at switch to bring monsters to 50% quick then tank :)

sounds like a nice idea.

Max static gives around 35 yards radius, while 1-point gives around 18 yards (those radius with good items).

With infy around, blizz sorc has enough points to max static and enough time to cast static between blizzards.

With over 30 yards radius, even blizzsorc can reach monsters, no need to be close at all.

edit:
radius little less for blizz-sorc as L-skillers not around.
