Paper, scissors, Rock I was just sitting around this morning....feeling no pain so to speak as normal people do on the morning of the first day of a three day weekend *breaths* And started thinking about the mechanics that make Paper, scissors, Rock a functional concept. The mechanics being that no matter what your choice, you can win, or get trumped. Then I began pondering how this relates to nature. How, no matter what the species, there is always another that can take you out. The lion eats the deer, the elephant steps on the lion, the mouse scares the elephant which, in turn has an arethmia and dies, the cat eats the mouse, the kid shoots the cat with a bb gun, turns around, and gets run over by a bus that swerved to avoid a deer. Hell, even the road runner seems to always out-wit the coyote who, by all the food chain rules, is intended to have the road runner for lunch. Ok, time to make coffee.
