Pallys Rockin my Face off

I have a pretty well geared fury rabies druid but i cant seem to touch paladins. Against smite i usually try to rabies and run. Usually i die before i can even land a rabie but if i do get one off they just kill me with charge. As for using a 2 hander to outrange them that almost never seems to work and my dr drops to **** without ss so they kill me even faster.

Hammer pallys are kicking my *** too. I sit there shift furying with the etomb and they just tank my fury while i die in 2-3 hammers.

Also cold sorcs are beating me pretty easily. Even with double ravens i cant stay alive for very long against them. I guess i could get that luna shield or would that still not be enough.

Any tips on how to better handle these guys. I really like ss druids but im getting frustrated how crapily ive been doing in pubs.

honestly, with zeal/smite pallys its gonna be a tough battle no matter what, every one ive dueled in pubs hits with tap and its a long fight, i usually try to rabies then fury while still being right in their face, i know most ppl wont agree with me but in pubs ive actually done alot better than tryin to outrange them or rabies then run, cold sorcs i try to hit with rabies and stay away, and if they go offensive i run away then when i think they are gonna tele, i run backwards a bit and shift fury, alot of times i will be hittin right where they tele, and with hdins, load up on frw and either try to get thro the hfield fast adn rabies/fury them, or run around them for a bit and make them go offensive and tele around, never run around in strait lines, circle around them while slowly closing in, thats just what ive found usually works in pubs, in priv duels its alot different tho

Describe how you fight Pallies. You you just click on the Smiter and wait for the hit to connect? Do you have minions out against the Ham Ham?

5 spirit wolves? max block, using walk after rabies? Yeah, 2 handers is suicide I dont care what anyone says. Etomb is a caster weapon, a good ebotd/ss can also work well against hammers if the damage is there, just keep moving, worst thing you can do is have them land "on" you, use your range too
yeah once they get lifetap it's nearly impossible. You have to have a lot of life too... I mean, some of the vids you see, prolly have at least 7k+ life to be able to tank that.

my gear is solid 415 ebotdz max block full dr 86 fhr shael in storm 6.4 k life(no BO poison weaps on switch) 19k AR. Yes i do usewalk vs smiters but that doesnt matter much since smite is unblockable. Unless ur saying land rabies then walk away which i still doubt would work. No i do not use 5 spirit wolves but i was under the impression that they did not help against hammers.

How i fight smiters is shift rabies and hope to land one then either walk away or fury. Rarely works. Against hammer pallies i just play defensively run away and shift fury once i think they're gonna namelock me. Even shift fury doesnt kill them quick enough and like i said ill die in 2-3 hammers. Think i answered just about everything still looking for more tips.

Put some r/w equipement against smiters, although maybe it sounds odd. With fr/w circlet I have better results against smiters. That way walking away works better, for me at least.
And dweb on switch speed things up.

even against smiters u can usually just run away since its unblockable, and try to use the terrain to ur advantage, run around puddles/buildings/bushes so they cant just chargelock you, rabies switch is helpfull too

k i guess the walk away trick seems to be the way to go. No knock on Kiba ball all those smiters had dick for poison resist except maybe the last one EDIT just tryed it out in pubs works like a charm. Thx all for info

One more thing i saw kiba used wolves how worth it is to to get them? Without the teleport minion stack effect how much benefit do they actually offer?

They are easy to re-summon and the main purpose is to have that small small chance to block a progectile , attack or charge etc. They open up chances of opportunity sometimes kinda like how a Foot ball teams offensive line opens up pockets for a running back to go through. Go Chargers!

Not necessarily. Do you understand how the switch trick works? Read Stoutes guide on it, if you flash to Dweb & 20/-20%ps monarch, the added damage bonus as well as the -75% enemy poison resist permantly take effect on the smiter. The Smiter very well could have had 90% poison resist total, after the switch though he'd be reduced down to a petty 15%... and since Kiba did well over 50k Rabies damage with switch... you get the picture.

Yeah, like Inane said. Very important just to throw a point in spirit wolf. They don't do anything amazing... but they obstruct charge, allowing you to land a hit easier initially. Think of it sorta like... a "free" lvl 1 bonewall, doesn't do much but can get in the way of charge so you can land a quick bite... at least that's how I think of it ^.^

EDIT: LOL... CHARGERS ALL THE WAY!

Afaik hammer is magic dam and thus block from storm is useless

it is... I was referring to smite

2 hand ebotd gpa (range 5) or etomb (range 4) are the way to go against hammers... but even so, I wouldn't underestimate charge. Even at lvl 1 with HoZ they can still mess you up good if they find out you dont have block, hence having pets too.

So you'd drop the switch trick and go for crappy poison damage? I don't think that's a better idea either, even if it is a Libby (I'm sure most hammers are vit though)

I'd say just stick with your 415 eBotdZ/SS ::dweb/monarch for better versatility & results... seems like common sense. If you drop switch your rabies will suck, then gl vs smite. If you go 2hand you can get charge/smite raped if they run it

Thanks for the tips they've helped me out a lot lately. Every once in a while though i still come across a smiter who seems to have a TON of resist even after the switch trick. Do they have to be on screen when u switch weaps?

Also cold sorcs are still pretty much raping me. And those lame farcast zons. What are some typical absorb items i can use to beat these cheesers in pubs. Double raven doesnt seem to do much vs blizz and Tgods+16 wisp isnt keeping me alive vs light zons
