    pali gc question

    how many gcs should a zealot have?

    If your PVP, I would say 10. Get the ones with better damage mods than those super duped 3/20/20s. With the grand charms, you can do better than 9 max damage each.

    Zealots have no need of Skill GCs so just find ones that fill anything your laking. Resist, Ar/damage,life

    actually, a zealot with combat charms could potentially have very high def

    It's fine if your using only what you have on hand/can get easly but if your going all out or are rich then scs are a lot better

    For zealot vs zealot, ar and defence is what wins duels. Combat GC's give more to both of those than Small Charms can. Life and Damage dont matter if you cant hit or cant get hit.

    If my memory serves me correctly, you you can have up to 12 damage (maybe more) on a grand charm with other mods on it. That's more than the 9 offered by using three 3/XX/XX.

    actually a Grand Charm can have up to 14 Max Dmg ...

    a Sharp of Maiming I believe +10 +4

    or Sharp of Vita +10/+40~45 life

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

    But I would rather use 10 x Combat Charms of Vita/Balance since they pump up your :

    Zeal Dmg
    Charge Dmg
    Smite Dmg
    Holy Shield Duration
    Attack Rating
    Defense Rating
    Hammer Dmg

    I mean with 10 x Combat Charm, your zealot can even deal 1.5 ~ 2 K Smite dmg and 2K ~ hammer dmg which is pretty considering zealot has trouble dealing with non-melee characters.... and Blessed Hammer is a killer for other Teleporting PKer.

    Plus you can get + dmg using a Etheral Redeemer or Iron Ward which is like 10 times better than the + dmg on charms.

    you don't have to use all GC or all SC, you can mix the two together and find the best possible combination.

    Strength, I agree actually but those are a little too expensive unless they are only 20 to 30 life on each.

    It's not like the gear those palapk zealots are using is cheap anyway. What are a few combats with life compared to their exiles, coas, etc :)

    I wonder too how they got all that gear. I remember in the past you could get like 40 runes for an awesome cruel weapon... I guess I answered my question for the vets, dunno for the new ones though.

    I thought grand charms with vita suffix couldn't exceed 40 hp? Or am I wrong?
