We have recently received some inquiries regarding instances of longer-than-normal wait times for starting games of Diablo II on Battle.net. The extended wait times were a result of certain player-made bots that were used to create game after game of Diablo II in rapid succession. We have now implemented a change that will lessen this type of bot abuse; this should significantly improve wait times for everyone.

So they've nabbed the botters, or at least some of them, or at least for now. Now if they'd just do something about TPPK...
