@helx: How do you like rock band? me and my 2 flatmates are thinking of getting it to our xbox 360, but it's alot of money, is it worth it? :wink3: Would be great to learn the opinion of someone who actually played it.

Rock Band is pretty awesome and very addictive IMHO. Been playing since Christmas, and we have Rock Band nights every couple of weekends with friends and family. :grin: I'm having a hard time splitting my time between that and D2. Lots of good songs, both old and newer.

I just played through the Palace and the Arcane Sanctuary and while watching the townsfolk moving I decided that i have to listen the following album after I've done playing.
Talking Heads - Remain in Light
The reason is the song The Great Curve as it has these words:
The World moves on womans hips
The World moves and it swivels and bops
The World moves on womans hips
The World moves and it bounces and hops
Kudos to the Diablo II animators.

If we talk about just songs, perhaps these three songs will be played repeatedly for the next hour and half:
Looptroop Rockers - Building
Looptroop Rockers - Marinate
Promoe - This is what I look like naked in Falujah
If I'd have to pick a album now, it would be either Promoe - Standard Bearer or Promoe - White Man's Burden. I guess no one needs many guesses to know which is hot for me now :grin: I could listen to Miles Davis now also, but don't have any of his records in mp3, so I could listen him while going to school.

All of the ska I have on my iPod :grin: Catch 22, The Hippos, Less Than Jake, Long Shot Hero, Mad Caddies, Madness, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Psycho Superfly, Reel Big Fish, Save Ferris, Ska Daddyz, [spunge]. For some reason I also have Smash Mouth in that genre as well, I wouldn't have thought they were really Ska.

Everytime I hear someone say SKA I think about the movie try 17 (no, it's not waht you think it is) with elijah wood in the lead role, it's not really a great movie or anything, but its ok, anyway I always think about it when I hear/read SKA

My own band, Needleheart/selfpromotion
Besides that, I've been listening a lot to the oldest/newest of Iron Maiden's material, because I've mostly listened to their more popular albums. Slayer and Manowar is for working out, or cleaning out the place. I like to listen to some death/gore from time to time as well, and Dimmu Borgir seems to never bore me.
On the topic of death/gore: Go to youtube and search for "go brutal". First result is probably one of the best videos on youtube.
