OT: WH40K fans better sit down for this...

I don't know how many of you know this, but GW is developing a Real Time Strategy version of Warhammer 40,000. I heard this about three months ago, but just ran across two screenshots HERE ...if you have not seen these shots yet, prepare to become REAL impatient for the Dawn of War release!

Looks nice. I prefer the normal WH, and not 40K, but it still looks like it could be good.

Dawn of War was on the cover (and had about a 4-5 page write-up) in last month's PC Gamer (I believe). I personally can't wait for it, I hope they've got something put together to show at Games Day Baltimore this year, like they had for FireWarrior last year.

About the only thing I'm disappointed in is that only Space Marines are playable in SP, with Orks coming in in MP only. So no chaos, tau, eldar, etc. Of course, that's what exp. packs and sequels are for :innocent:

Only Space Marines?! Why those do-gooding power-armoured poster boys...

Hopefully this game will be more of a success than the prior efforts (I was quite fond of some of the earlier computer games based on GW licenses), but we'll just have to wait and see I guess.

Especially for any mention of Eldar :uhhuh:
