Bleh, i hate internet. Was surfing along, and when the computer frooze I had to shut down explorer, and when I start up again a new start site have been added, some crappy search sight named afind or something.
I thnk, whatever, so I proceed to the internet settings and put the start site back to google, but when i shut down IE and start up again it is still afind.

Sorry to burst in with an OT question but it is annoying since that site is slow as hell and I wont go to bed with anything undone.

Anyone?

In the square where you should type in the default/starting webpage, it says about:blank, And I cant get it to dissapear. Everytime I shut down IE and turn it back on afind is there and in the tools--->internet options--->defaut page, it still says about:blank.

Any help appreciated, and now I have to go to bed, hope someone knows

Go to a spyware removal site and lookup how to remove it. It should walk you through it.

Then pay one of your computer nerd friends $20 (usually in the form of a pizza) to destroy that companies website in revenge.

Lavasoft adaware ****ing owns.
On my old comp I had a porn site as my home page like that, my parents would get so mad and tell me to change it >_<
Sometimes adaware doesn't work though.

yeah, but I don't have any rich uncles that I woulcn't be upset to lose, and that kinda money would run out sooner or later. And I don't play the lottery.

Plus work is good, it provides structure and routine which i really need.
