Hey guys,

Just wondering what the SP community thinks of this game?

I personally love it :)

Has real depth and even after months on it I'm still getting my head around elements of the game. Its got great variety in skills + builds and for me is the best hack n slash since D2 by far!

The mood is dark and gritty, the music and complex lore just add to its appeal.

If you havn't already I highly recommend giving this game a go.

On a side note I've only ever played self found and single player and found the game both challenging and rewarding in equal measure.

Cheers

I enjoyed it last summer but lost time/interest during last fall. Half of my time was solo/with my bro and the rest I included trading and playing with others in the SPF

I played it and liked it a while ago (like a year). Only problem was the online only part. Lag was what made me quit. There's this whirlwind skill (or at least there was back then), although it's called different, but with that you basically could not see what was happening 95% of the time while you were in combat.
If it had played smoothly all along, or had an off line mode there's a good chance i'd still be playing it (my hand permitting).

I just played it back in mid 2012 when it was still in closed beta. The only thing I really liked was the "Sphere Grid"-type skill/stat system. I call it Sphere Grid since it looks almost exactly the same as the Final Fantasy X system.

However I quickly stopped playing it... anyways, I don't play any RPG games anymore that require online to play. Never again after this D3 stuff. However I still do play other genres that might require online (Counter-Strike, SMITE, DotA?)

I'm in the same boat as some of the above posters. Played it for awhile maybe a year or two back, and while the potential was there to be a very cool game (pure barter economy), seemingly complex and rich skill/customization system, the overall feel of the game (maybe just the look combined with how the interface felt) was very generic to me and I got bored after I finished the game only once.
