Diablo IV, Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 Forums - Diabloii.Net
Hello! So, I watched a movie tonight which reminded me of a movie I watched a long time ago, but I can't recall many of the details. I'm just wondering if it rings a bell to anyone, or could help find it.
Also, if anyone else has any movies they're trying to recall, feel free to add some information. If there are multiple requests for multiple movies, I would like an "Unfound Movie List" to be included so that posts don't get forgotten about. There will be spoilers - anything to help find the movie.
On to my movie:
- It's basically a psychological action/suspense movie where the main protagonist (male) has to foil an abduction and terrorist plot.
- During the plot, the protagonist and antagonist have a type of cat and mouse, with the antagonist terrorists always one step ahead. Regardless of how many steps ahead the protagonist things, the terrorists have already countered it.
- Towards the end, the protagonists daughter is kidnapped, and taken away in a van. A chase ensures, with the protagonist finding the van abandoned in a carpark - possible an underground or hospital carpark.
- He opens the door to see if his daughter is still in the van, only the find explosives.
- The building blows up, the protagonist dies, and I believe it was revealed that the daughter was safe. The terrorists were one step ahead, and lured him there on purpose.
- The conclusion is news reports/stories about a man (the protagonist) who was seeking revenge for something against society - possibly borderline alcoholic with a failing marriage, or lost his job - I'm not sure, but the protagonist was set up to appear as the terrorist.
- It was the type of sad, plot twist ending that really rings a bell for me.
Does anyone have any recollection of such a movie?
