OT. Much OT. The topic is girls.

Befor we start, i know this subject probably could be handled much better somewhere else, but you guys, some of you, are the most brilliant guys with lots of ideas. so im sorry for the OT.

Yes. Girls. It's not that i don't have one, i have been together with my lady for about 125 days now, but. I don't know what do the with her when we are alone. We are going in the same class, but we also see each other after school, pretty obvious :afro:

But what shall a guy of 17, do with a girl of 17, when not screwing? im kind of low of money 24/7/12 , so any ideas appreciated..

    Thanks!

Start by getting a little class.

Have you asked here what she likes to do? hobbies? interests? Go for a walk, talk, play games, rent a movie...

You bet, but only if she likes it too  Playing something outside like soccer or basketball are good, too. I like walking around stores (furnature, home improvement, kitchen, even car dealerships) and looking at stuff we like for our house/life some day. Probably not a good idea if you aren't looking for a long term relationship, though.

Go hiking/biking, and try different trails if available. Rent movies. If you're kitchen-inclined, cook her a dinner (if your parents will let you).

My husband and I started dating when we were 17, and I'd have to say our favorite "cheap" thing to do was movie nights. We'd rent a pile of movies and buy some snacks or make a pizza, and it was a great way to spend an evening. Never the same movies twice so it never got boring, and our styles are slightly different so we'd occasionally find ourselves liking something that we didn't think we'd like.

You were pretty crude, martinkingss... :(

    Here's my advice:

See if your town or university has a free weekly paper that lists just about everything that goes on. Also, check out the public bulletin board (or telephone poles, if that's what people use to hang flyers on!). Sometimes you can discover cool things to do that happen on a regular basis. There are usually a lot of free or really inexpensive (especially if you can get a student or youth discount) things to do:

    films
concerts (sometimes even opera recitals, and plays, especially if the local universities have theatre arts prorams)
    "little league" ball games
    art galleries
    outdoor festivals
    coffeehouses with free music
clubs of all sorts (meaning chess, writers, etc--not night clubs)

plus if you have nearby parks, you can have picnics, go kiteflying, play frisbee, etc.

Take my word for it as someone with experience in dating "girls" ;) that there are lot of things to do. Usually, there are so many choices that you have to be pretty picky.

Thanks for the ideas guys, just let em flow in.

About the shopping. No offense to mankind, but...We'r to mean to the girl. I love to go shopping with her. On the other hand. It's not regular shopping, more in stores with hard rock stuff..

About the biking, good idea, but here in sweden it's nearly winter :(

Oh no. Selling ikea stuff to other countries, is like making a disease and selling it.

Whats wrong with Sweden? Turned 21, and it still fits me perfect! Take her out for a stroll, remember to hold hands, as it's cold.
    Where in Sweden?
