Hello,

I have a totally unrelated question for the Moderator. Why is the banner ad at the top of my for the incredibly stupid classmates.com (I do not care what happened to my former classmates, may they take a rocket to the sun) continually popping up and blocking half my @(%$(&* screen?

Is this part of the "great" site re-design? If so how do I get this filthy intrusive garbage off of my damn screen? Unlike a "legitimate" pop-up, there is no close button. It just hangs there making it impossible to even click on anyone's name in the current member list.

Who's dumbass idea was this? Pathetic!

I understand the need for $$$ to keep the site running, but pick a respectable advertiser who will not have a lowly disgusting pop-up constantly interfering with my evil machinations and general site access. Seriously how do I get this infuriating junk off of my screen!?

Or use use something like Adblock Plus. It's freen, saves bandwidth and improved you loading times because you don't have to connect to multiple ad-banner servers each time you want to connect to an annoying web site.

Hello,

Thanks for the information. FYI this did not happen before the site redesign and it only pertains to the a$$mates.com banner. The other banner ads do not seem to be so malicious. At least I now have a few options for stopping it - ie. donate to the site or log-off and back on to DiabloII.net and roll for a different banner.

Any of you fellow musicians know where to find a good serial number tracker? My dad brought me in an old, beat up axe last night, and I can't find anything on it to save my fur. It's obviously a Jackson or Charvel, I can tell by the neck and headstock, but it has a 6 digit serial, with a letter preceding, so it can't be a "San Dimas" Charvel (unfortunately). I scoured the net for 3 hours while realm downed last night, and got nothing useful :(

Other guitar news, if I were to completely build my dream axe from scratch (barring the neck-thru part, which I'm going to see about today) from Warmoth, it would be something in the vicinity of $1200. Pretty [email protected] secksay for a full scallop neck w/ active dimebuckers IMO.

I want a Stealth guitar really bad or maybe a 80's iron bird would be sweet. I like the sound the guitarist from Death got from his Stealth and with out a lot of effects like wah pedals or what evas its called.

Charvel guitars look cool.

little OT but you might find the interview on this guitarist interesting Kell.

If you do find one, please let me know aswell. I have a über-rare Jackson guitar, and I even tried sending them a mail about the S/N but to no luck. They said I should contact the European distributor.. So much for Jackson!

Oh, and while speaking about dreamguitars, if/when I ever get enough money I'll head straight for: http://www.conklinguitars.com
Some of those are just too darn sexy for my own good.
