OT: Ladder reset: the only nl vs ladder thread

So just curious what will happen when they merge. I mostly read nl > ladder in terms of dueling, so I myself may look for some better dueling practice (I currently suck at pvp). Ladder people say alot of the skill in nl is godly dupes. Thoughts on what will happen in duels?

I'm sticking with ladder. It really doesn't take that time, IMO, to get a decent amount of wealth if you know how to play and trade well.

I don't know, it seems like all of the ladder threads on these forums right now are for ladder, not nl.

Btw, might I have a small mini-rant
MY GOD, THEY ALWAYS DO THIS DAMN LADDER RESET RIGHT AS I LEAVE FOR A CAMP. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME IN A ROW!!!!! AAARRRGGGHHH!!!

was there a ruststorm last time there was a new ladder?

its hard to tell if nl > ladder because a lot of ladder duelers go back to ladder climbing after a reset and dont focus on dueling for quite a while

nl's are jealous of all our runewords -.-

NL> ladder my oppinion although u got alot of hack using noobs on NL it makes some duels more interesting.

Also when i play ladder with mage there not many chars i see that are worth talking about but hopefully someone can prove me wrong...

And even these "so called" players i dont think will stand up to their nl counterparts...

plus i never full understood why offical duels had to take part in nm. i mean builds take unessary nerfages.

I stongly disagree to nm duels, if anyone calls me out for a ft5 in nm I'll laugh at him.

Some priv tvt games (tvt-1 ...) are often made in nm as well in nonladder, I find that hilarious. Venom sucks in nm and those minipots aaarghs.

anyway, I refuse to duel in nm. If you cant stack, play pvm.

thats how i see it as well cuz even on my mage it use a 1 pt conviction so with gear etc it totals to about -150 res which is pretty easy to stack. now if u bring that to nm alot of chars can now stack without lossing any kinda mobility etc. I dont mind if ppl stack obviously infact i welcome ppl to use stack and abs if neccesary but being able to stack easier without having to change much equip goes against the whole point i.e when a char usally stacks or something they could lose dr, drop say fcr frame or even damage.

And with sins as well nm duel + antidote means almost no ww dmg... and again antidotes cant be detected..
