Then they're not nubs.

You see I've several times gotten in the top 3 (or just straight up first place), even against players that have a much higher rank (lvl) in the game. The times my friend and I get beat are when we're up against a good team. Typically a clan, although not always.

That's not to say we're really really awesome at the game. Just that nubs generally don't stand a chance.

I'm more of a battlefield 3 kind of guy myself.

I used to be really into shooters, but they've been pretty lackluster over the last few years.

Shooter is one of my least favorite type of games. It's right up there with most sports games.

I agree, shooters used to be my favorite when I was younger, but every new shooter that gets released is essentially a cookie cutter of a previous one.

To be fair, there just isn't that much new that they cage realistically come up with. Not that it makes it any better. The last shooter I really liked was Golden eye, on the N64

For console shooters I like Medal of Honor, but nobody plays that. I am quite possibly the best MoH player there is, at the very least in the top five. At one point I was eighth on the leaderboards but going off to school has done away with that. I am also a gifted Halo player. I like the arcadey shooters, the ones that are all about headshots and suicide nades and spawn camping and stuff.

I was never really into console shooters that much (aside from the aforementioned Perfect Dark / Goldeneye). I tended to prefer the quake games (especially quake 2) and BF 1942

I played the quake and doom series a bit as well, never really got in to them though.

I probably put at least 1k hours into both goldeneye and perfect dark.

Perfect Dark Zero for xbox 360 was terribad btw.
