That's exactly what we did.

We also tried BF3 on highest difficulty setting. It was challanging, but at least not as frustrating, so we got through it! :D

Anyway I'm back now for at least... a week? :D I don't know, but for now I'm back. >_>

Good to be back! :D

Not good. Unemployed atm, and of the 20 or so job openings I looked at, none really fit for my lvl of education. One did though, but it's a bit away from where I live, and requires a drivers license, which I lack. But still several places that I can show up in person at and ask if they're hiring. Just need to stop being lazy and sort out my CV. >_>

Well I know I'll stay home for at least a week. Might leave to visit my family again, but it kinda depends on the financial situation. It could be for a week only, or I could be around several weeks before going away for a few short days again. :p Besides at this point if I left for some place, it'd be only for 2-4 days or so.

Ah, that's a bummer. I halfway expected you to say that they extended your contract after all.

I hope you can find a new job soon, I'm sure you can't afford to be unemployed for too long.

I hadn't given up all hope myself either until almost the very last day. And I should be able to afford it for quite some time, as I recieve monetary support in a period of up to 52 weeks, or until I find a job. It's not a huge amount of money of course, but enough to get by on.

Well basically they didn't feel they needed more people there, and since I was on a temporary contract, they cut me loose when the contract was over. But at the same time they're hiring 2 more people early this year? Kinda doesn't make sense to me. Granted those two aren't going to work with the same group I was, but that still doesn't take away from the fact they could use at least 1 more person in order to run efficiently. Now things are just moving along at I would say almost bare minimum pace.

I didn't, because it was a completely different position than what I was working as, and I wasn't qualified for it. Those two job openings were quite specific in nature, so even if I had applied, it wouldn't have made a difference.

I did apply to other job openings though that were for my kind of position, but no luck.
