    OT - Email Spam

Every day I get the same spam from different addresses. Cheap home loans, Viagra, etc and every day I block the senders using Outlook Express. It just keeps coming from other senders. But lately something weird has begun to happen and I wonder if anyone here know what it is. I get an envelope in my inbox but there is no from, or body. Just an empty envelope. Does anyone know what this spam is or why I get it?

I delete everything that comes to my email, unless I KNOW the person, but thats pretty rare :p

In any case, I use hotmail, and I am on MSN messenger alot, so they talk to me using that :)

And regarding that email, Ive seen a few come in my inbox, but i just left it alone..

as they say curiosity killed the cat, in this case, hope its not your computer

I dont open anything from anyone I dont know. I just hit the block sender (in this case there is no sender so you cant block) and delete.

Well yesterday my wife was reading the email and opne of those such emails pops up and she kiddingly says "look honey you can get a larger penis" to which my 5 year old daughter replies " no you cant have one" kids say the darndest things

Oh, just as it happened, I checked my school address just now. It's one where I don't get any spam as 1: I think they have alot of filters for those addresses and 2: It's not easily spammed because it's not one of the usual "@"s.

Anyway, I did have a new e-mail there, but it was not from another student/the institution. It was ... from "me". Apperantly a software mail delivery client called "mailmarshal" had not bee able to deliver an e-mail, "I" sent to some obscure adress. Heh. Let's just say, I never sent such a mail to any such address.

Of course, "I" had attached two files with lengthy and non-saying names. Of course I see that it was a virus, donn't need any software to find that out, but I'm sure that's one of the more "intelligent" ways to spread a virus. Many users who e-mail alot from an address would sure be fooled by this one:

"Hmm, I can't seem to remember sedning that one, or did I? I'll probably remember if I check what I sent them. I mean, it's not like it's one of those Male organ enhancement mail!"

It's sad though. Now I know that at least one spam/virus spreading entity has found my "clean" address
