Ok, let me try to catch up really fast in one post. Please correct me if Im wrong.....:tongue:

Sidhe, now moved on from past relationship is dating DeathMaster!?! If so congrats to the both of you! Man, where have I been. And thanks Sidhe for the welcome back....still spreading dust for the most part I see?

Rax now living in townsville, still works as a butcher (enjoying the job?) , and has a new gf Kavie who is a member of the SPF as well....I wont even ask about what happened with the other one although the gossip side of me wants to hear the story....bad....and the new story....almost as bad. Congrats to the both of you! BTW, its nice to see your still spamming in the SPF corax. One of the few SPFers whos on the same plane of existence as myself....without you filling the place with some manliness the Rizzos of the joint would tear this thread up.

w_m still making comfort food for everyone...seems like home :thumbsup: . Thanks for the welcome back w_m, work has been tough but im still hanging in there. Spent the last month doing serious over time but things are cooling down now. Have had to make several adjustments in life recently. Planning to buy a new house very soon and there is talk of trying to have our first child in the near future....she says her clock is ticking.

Bunny, So AE and whats his name arent the mods here anymore eh? Oh well, enjoy your time at college and with your almost bf Chris. Did i mention that college is IMO the #1 prime of your life. Live those years to thier fullest and enjoy every moment, even the tough parts. You may never get a chance to experience that much youth, vigor, and exuberance again. Make sure you soak up as much as you can. :wink3:

@ronin, no, sidhe is not dating Deathmaster. As for cor, I think they met in wow, she joined up b/c of him. And the mods changed but it's cat and hurs so it's not like some one was just pulled out of a hat. GL with the house shopping! I'm still not used to ours and ww've been here almost 10 months. (dang time flies)

@sidhe, enjoy what you've got with out spoiling it with future sadness, besdies, Nov isn't all that far away.... just remind yourself that you'll apreciate him all the more when you see him

I am so excited about college, I know its going to be so much fun, and well worth it when its all said and done, through the good times and bad.

Yeah, I do, but only single-player. I have also downloaded several of the user-made mods and played them. It's great if you love D&D, especially if your gaming group split and moved apart years ago. :cry: I just wish the scenario editor/creator had made it to the Mac.

@rax - thanks im looking forward to the details.......btw you still doing the martial arts?....and did you ever get your lizard liscense and lizard? I was in a minor unofficial competition on monday. I dominated my first opponent and lost to my second. Now I cant move my neck to the left.....

@arreat - never had the pleasure to speak with you before either although i recognize your name. thanks for the welcome, looking forward to some good discussion.

@bunny - college goes by so fast...it seems like i was just there although its already been many years. I often dream about being able to go back and live through it one more time. There are so many opinions, ideas, and freedoms granted to you all at once. It can be a really great experience if you let it be. If I can give any advice it would be to just relax and enjoy the opportunity to be an adult and a kid at the same time.....push through the tough times and relish in the good times. Hopefully your going to love it.
Oh, btw neverwinter nights is IMO essentially Baldur's Gate in 3D. A rpg based off of the 3.5 D&D rules which allows for cooperative or SP game play. Its probably one of my favorite rpgs out there and its ridiculous cheap. Like $20 for the original and all the expansions if you buy the diamond version.

@Jude - I only play SP too although I wouldnt mind trying to MP. How are the user mods? And have you played through the expansions yet? My DnD group is small and doesnt meet very often so I need a little gaming in between. :grin:

@sidhe & shermo - congrats! hopefully time spent apart will bring you closer. I had to live apart from my wife (was my gf at the time) for a while. When we finally were able to live together again we got married.

The last few days have left me with a lot less time to spend here than I'd like (I think this is my second post this week?). Life is busy for me at the moment, even to the point of getting a little stressful :undecided:

Things should be back to normal in about a week and a half. Until then I probably won't be here much I'm affraid. Pretty much just reading the DooL and EMB. You could have picked a better time, IMHO, for the squid wars :wink3:

I've also been playing NWN recently, since I just got a hold of the expansion packs. Pretty great game, although I do miss some of the aspects that I loved about Baldur's Gate.

Some of the user-made mods are great. I haven't tried the Bioware official pay-for mods (since I don't like the idea of having my computer "call home" to verify every time I want to play), except for an early free version of Witches Wake (WW1-The Fields of Battle), which was pretty good. I particularly liked one where your character turns into a werewolf and has been terrorizing the town but doesn't realize it at first (Candle in the Dark). Also, I'm currently playing Tales of Arterra-The Lost. There are links on the Bioware Neverwinter Nights page to the best rated mods there and also to some other fan sites. There are a lot of old D&D scenarios (Remember? A1, A2, D1, D2, Ravenloft, etc?) that people have adapted for use in Neverwinter Nights.

I haven't made it through the expansions, yet, although I own them. I keep getting distracted by starting new characters (I particularly like weird combo characters, like a dwarfen druid monk) and mods. The original game scenario is pretty big!

I would highly recommend downloading the latest patch before playing, especially since I heard the SoTU expansion had some really bad bugs.

I'm going to be lazy and just reply here. I have NWN and the 1st expansion too.
Haven't done martial arts in a year. none of the styles available in T'ville interested me. Either the style itself or the way it was taught. but theres been a fella just move up here who is learning the style i used to do. but with work i havent had a chance to go check it out yet (2 weeks time with any luck). Got my lizard and a snake.
Pfffft who needs left anyway. *flees from kav* silly left handed nub she is.

Ok the meat and 2 vege of my story.

We met one :sunny: day on WoW of all things. We was friends(meaning i had to help the noob with quests). Then she started having problems with her boyfirend being...not very nice... and i started realising the problems wer very similar to the ones i had with cindy. Then Cindy did something really nasty (which i forgot) and we broke up. Then Kav's bf broke up with her. then i believe there was stalking involved.
Then a week later i mentioned i had a weekend coming up (middle of teh week woot) and kav had both days off. So me being the chivalrious gentleman i am made the 4 400k. 400.5k trek to be exsact. but that involves doing a loopdiloop to pick up some disgusting mcdonalds coffee that had to of contained old boot...or old feet.
Anyway we met up as friends.(i wanted to meet another wow mate who was a rl mate of kavs. but hes whipped and thats for another story). And then one thing led to another and we wound up dating. alcohol was involved but she can outdrunk me. so i was taken advantage of.
Now we've been seeing each other for 2 months(last tuesday actually. and yes i remembered) and i know i couldnt be happier. the distance is still a major pain in the ***. but we're working on that problem.


I hope rizzo comes back. im going to topple this post and break his legs....then he cant leave. hahaha:badteeth:

its actually only 388ks from my town to his also!

and it was the tuesday just gone, so i guess last tuesday but i dunno sounds confusing *hrmmm*

i took him clubbing ... first time hes ever been
but it was crap coz it was rainy and only a thursday night so it was kinda sucky!
