And cats aren't stupid, they're smart enough to figure out how to make you get up and down and up and down and up and down...so who is the smart one now? :lol: They are just smart enough to know how to mess with you, and to enjoy doing it.

Douglas Adams had the same idea with Dolphins. Humans think that we're the smartest species in the world becouse we work and build cities etc., whereas dolphins only muck around in the water all day. Dolphins think that they're the smartest species for the same reason.

nah, they (almost) always meow when their hungry, not when they're fed. That's please, not thx.

Personally, i never had much use for the things except some of my sisters barn cats (214 year old house/farm = lots & lots of mice).

When your cat brings you the severed mouse head, that her way of saying thanks for all you do. Its really quite sweet, in a disgusting, bloody kind of way. :lol: We had a cat bring a live bird into the house one time. Thanks for the present, how about killing it next time, eh?

But aside from the occasional dead or nearly-dead thank-you present, cats pretty much figure that we humans exist for their pleasure, not the other way around. As much as I love cats, I'll always be a dog person. All they want to do is make us happy all the time. How can you beat that?

Diamond (the kitty in the 'tar) said "hell-o" one day when goltar and I returned home and said hi to her. She also meows when she can't see us and wants attention. She nuzzels & purrs to let you know that she's happy with you and wants to cuddle.

No she thinks she needs to teach her big hairless kittens how to hunt. Cats in the wild often bring back still whole/live prey to their dens so their babies know what it looks like and can learn to kill it in RL.

@Corax - yes the sightings are rare these days, though they may become more common. I've started playing D2 again and am having some fun atm trying to find some gear.

@Ronin - Glad to hear things are going well and you have some time to chill out. Work is going well for me, no complaints at all. The home front isn't too bad, though Bec is having some issues adjusting to the big smoke. It's tough but I'm trying to be as supportive as possible...............

I read an article this year that scientists have bred a hairless cat for allergic cat-lovers. I think it was about $3000. I really can't imagine wanting a cat bad enough to pay 3 grand for a hideously freakish looking giant mole...but that's just me.

I've started again with zero gear and found it quite fun. Have had some good finds running Pindle/ Baal with a Blizz sorc, and I'm in the process of making another Hammerdin.......... We'll see how we go..........

I don't get the cat clones, myself....
And there have been furless cat for quite a while, they look more like rats than moles though... It's the saliva that makes most alergic people react, so it must have something to do with that.

I think it can be more fun to start from scratch once in awhile so you're not just building characters around your awesome gear all the time...more of a challenge.

The dander gets people b/c a cat licks it's fur/body to clean itself. Anybody allergic to cats and not dogs, it's the saliva. If they have a problem with dust itself, it's the sheding.

No fair, bunny just got back from HI, you get to go to AK, I'm stuck here and we may not even get city fireworks b/c of the fire threat. I'm a total firework freek, back in +90% humidity land my family usually spent about $200 on fireworks for just the 3 of us. Our neighbors all got a real big kick, one of them even told us he'd rather stay at home and see ours than fight the crowds to see the ones done by the city at the lake.

Meanwhile, shopping is coming! The 4th sales start today and I so need munchies for the guests.
