I'm not one much for rap but I often listen to the Roots' Phrenology when I don't feel like listening to the normal music. Ben Folds (and the "Five" in many cases) is just my favorite artist in general so I find myself listening to him as well.

I wonder how long it *really* takes to grade AP tests. Not 2 1/2 months I would think. Not that it really matters, I feel certain I got a "5" on both the History and Calculus exams.

Been along time since I was at high school...damn I feel old. :eek:

Takes a couple of months to mark university stuff over here usually.

How old is everyone around here? I turn 27 in a few weeks...

@corax - hows the karate coming? Ive recently taken in interest in Shaolin again, and might be attempting to go back to a Shaolin place I used to train at for a bit.

seeing as your geminis wouldn't there be 4 of you. gemini being twins and all. :D more ronins? *hides*

Karate's alright. saturday has turned into a kiddyminding fest as a bunch of soccer families dumped their kids in the cheapest alternative they could find. so we've got a stack of under 10 yr olds who know each other and all they want to do is run around and play.

Thursday is the same as usual accept their are a few new people and some of the old regulars have dropped out. So it's more basics than we normally do. still pretty fun

and now that i can drive I can get to tuesday training which is the best one. :D

Shaolin eh? sounds cool. I know a fella who went over to Shaolin and trained with the monks. I think he's back over there now but i'm not sure.

I'm 25 and an aries.. lots of those in the forum, they just don'tlike it here as much. Goltar is a Libra and 6 mo and 1 day older than me.

Cal A or B? and they say that long to cover thier behinds on the AP Eng where you have to write an essay. Though I think they grade it w/ a comp now.

I don't listen to music while I play, usually theirs something else going on in the background and I can't stand to wear headphones b/c I need to hear when my kitty is getting into something she shouldn't.

Don't worry, goltar has been slathered in aloe for the min we got home. I got a bit pink but nearly as bad as him, I took precautions and my make-up has sunscreen. On a factoid note... did you know that women's lipstick makes them 1/3 as likly to have skin cancer on their lips as men? No wonder men die sooner.

I've never even heard of anyone having skin cancer on their lips. My dad, brother, and both grandfathers all have cancerous moles that they've had removed, and some on the face, but none on lips. That would really suck.

I usually listen to music when playing. Right now I'm listening to Modest Mouse, Keane, Blue Merle, Low Millions, Carbon Leaf. I change around a lot as new stuff comes out.

The last couple nights I have played while Star Wars 4 and 5 were playing on the TV across the room. I like doing that too, especially if I'm just MFing or something that requires less concentration.

That music rocks! my dad made me a CD of the LP (w/ original poster and album jacket) and I used it to write papers a few times and work out to it a good bit.

I actually still have the original LP that I've had since I was a kid, although I don't actually play it anymore. Its got all the screenshots on the cover and insert. It is great, timeless music. :thumbsup:
