Bunny, that's awesome. How big is your group? I can't imagine having too huge a choir where you live. What part do you sing? I sang bass in my high school choir, and it was loads of fun. Plus, we took a trip to Williamburg, Virginia each year for a choir competition, which of course included Virginia Beach and Busch Gardens...very fun. Let us know how it goes for you.Bunny_Usagi said:i am going to state competition for choir in two weeks. we got back from regionals yesterday and since then i have been really excited about it. anyways. yeah, we all got superior ratings and one of the groups i was in got the same ratings as the command performances at the end concert which means that basically we were the best of the best. anyways. i gotta go ttyl.

Our small group that is going to state competition has 7 people going to state but really has 8 people in it. One of our guys decided to get suspended so he didn't have to go to competition because he didn't want to be in choir. Not that I mind that he isn't going because he is a jerk, lol. I am an alto 1, but can sing some 2nd saprano which is spelt wrong, alto 2, and even a little tenor! We are go on a big trip next year around the state and I am looking forward to that ^^.piscene said:Bunny, that's awesome. How big is your group? as bunny is female she would exceed 10 on your scale. So I'd say between 11 and 14 (between lower and medium female voice)farting bob said:*fluffs bunny's pillow*
Anyway, im not into singing myself, so for those of us who arent up to scratch, on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being barry white and 10 being a man with his gonads stuck in a clamp, how high do you sing buns?
Alto is lower range. How high can I sing was your question though. If I have enough warming up like I did over the weekend I can hit soprano 1 notes, which is really freaking high. But I try not to do that because it messes up my voice.farting bob said:*fluffs bunny's pillow*

do you guys play as though a palidin has to be lawful stupid? I like pallies but I don't see them as bad as they tend to make out.roninDOG said:@isengart - Indeed, DnD is pretty much the best game I have ever played in my entire life. The limitless possibilites for doing anything within reason, and a game engine fueled by the imagination. I am currently not playing in any predesigned realms, rather I have played as a PC in a world my father created before my birth with the 1st edition DnD books, and as a DM in a world I created for my father and brother. My father is playing as a paladin, no prestige class reached as we recently started campaign. Brother is playing as an Iaijutsu master. I have played as a F/M/T elf and as a Cleric Mod Character adjusted to be similar in respects to a Catholic Priest.

Counter tenors were the reason for rating myself below 10. Actually they sing Alto parts and some (very rare though) can even sing Soprano parts.water_moon said:do you guys play as though a palidin has to be lawful stupid? I like pallies but I don't see them as bad as they tend to make out.
@isengart: I'd disagree with that. Guys singing falsetto (or castrati if that clamp stays on too long) can go pretty high. I was alto in our Collegium Cantorum and I can still match James Taylor note for note when I try. (though it does tend to do a number on my vocals)
I was refering to saying that as a female, bunny couldn't be on the scale that fbob suggested. He had a 1-10 scale that can still be valid for all vocal ranges. I don't doubt your own prowress, I'm sure you could bring the EMB to it's feet or knees as you wished if you ever wanted to use the karioke machine gathering dust in there, but just as you can sing high, I can sing low.isengart said:Counter tenors were the reason for rating myself below 10. well, more squeak then scream, but it's a cultrual refence (movies, TV jokes, etc.) here that a guy who got kicked, or otherwise damaged "there" will squeak very, very high, for a short period of time.isengart said:@wm: hehehe I might do that once
I don't think that the average man will scream in soprano even if his gonads are clamped...
the female voice is situated an octave above the male voice in average. and as fb took two men as the limits for his scale I thought that an alto/lower soprano is probably higher than a screaming guy but I may be wrong on this. I would not scream in soprano for sure![]()
Yeah, you got a problem with that, mister?corax said:you sung fish?????
yes. fish should be used for only two things, eating and slapping. nothing elsepiscene said:Yeah, you got a problem with that, mister?![]()

I've never played DnD. Actually, D2 is the first video/computer/rpg of any kind that I have ever played. I really am the ultimate n00b. When I started D2, I knew exactly nothing. I think I may have moved a bit beyond that point now, maybe.![]()

But you have to let her know youve got intentions. 3 days of waiting is enough to achieve both. She is remembering you the whole time, and then her anxiety will be relieved when you finally do call. Trust me on this on.
