Did an all-nighter out yesterday, didn't come home until 8 today morning Just the way it's supposed to be hehe. Anyway, I met this really great girl that lives and studies around 2 miles from where I do my army thingy so we decided to meet up there in a few weeks since I have a 2 week exercise now meaning sleeping in tents.
Anyway, we talked alot and we got alot incommon and it really clitched between between us. So hmm, I have been thinking about contacting her earlier like under the exercise since I can bring my cell phone there. Thinking about sending an SMS or so to her just to let her know I haven't forgot about her. Anyone think this is a great idea? Sidhe, being a girl, what do you think? Or should I just wait for the exercise to be done.

I'd not contact her too early as she might get the impression that you run after her, which I consider not the best. But I think you should contact her a bit earlier than you have scheduled with her. At least that's probably what I would do.
The reason for me would be to give her the impression that I appreciate an oncoming date with her but don't run after her like a dog after one occasional meeting.

Nah don't worry, I won't give her the feeling i'm running after her like a dog. Bleh, doesn't feel good with a 2 weeks exercise now when meeting her since it really clitched yesterday, haven't been able to think about anything else.

Why not leave her flowers on her doorstep? Just pick some in the forest? All those pretty white ones that are blossoming atm (dunno the english name)...? Or you could call her, make her come visit you in the forest, and then have go for a walk, pick some flowers together... that's romantic.

seriously though id say ring her a few days before your meeting thingy. that way she'll remember too and you wont get stood up *grumbles*....
dont invite her to the forest. thats stalkery too. think about it. you just met the girl so you invite her into the deep dark woods. not a good impression in my opinion

Ahh, the days of electronics, if you think she's skitish a note (or SMS) to let her know you're thining about her is not a bad thing. Just don't do the "wish you were here", make it more, "wish I was there" (but not becuase it sucks to bivouac, but becasue you enjoyed her company)

3 days nacaa, its safe to call after 3 days. You dont want to give her the impression your head over heels and chasing her. But you have to let her know youve got intentions. 3 days of waiting is enough to achieve both. She is remembering you the whole time, and then her anxiety will be relieved when you finally do call. Trust me on this on.

Got most of my work done but have some yet. Should be done by this week I hope and then I can take a more relaxed pace. Worked 60 hours last week, and am still hurting. Wife and puppy (who acts like puppy but really isnt one) are good but they missed me quite a bit over the last few weeks since Ive been away so much working and traveling on business.
