I hate you

Seriously though, nice machine. I have a comp that is about 4-5 yrs old, but I dont think a new one is in the works over here :p

Now that you have the good machine, you need some good games! Besides D2, of course

Wow! That'll be a sweet system when you get it up and running.

Did you buy the components and build it yourself?

The monitor alone makes me

One thing I can think of: Why XP Home? XP Pro is superior to Home in every single way. I've worked extensively with both and I know that Pro preforms better.

It looks a lot like mine actually. :D I would agree on Windows XP Pro too. Is your hard drive SATA?

@CrazyChihuahua - Definently doing that, one thing already is Counter-Strike Condition Zero for starts.

@Urlik_Skarsol - Its a custom built computer from a computer Specialist.

@Duy - Yes, D2 will run extremely smooth, from my old computer, definently getting more games now, anything will be nice and smooth. :)

@Ravenforce3 - Never heard of XP Pro, mabey Ill try and get it.

@D2Addict - its SATA, but I dont really know what that means yet... ?

pfft pc's are weak, I know from experience that my g4/733 can match that in effectiveness and crash far less at the same time...

When the dual 3+ gHz G5's come out it's all over :p

Kickass computer. Now use it to play Hearts on :p I want one of these badboys too but that would mean I have to get a job.

only change i would have made to that system would be to swap the FX5900 with a Radeon 9800. the FX series cards have known problems with some DirectX9 features that the Radeon's dont. otherwise a nice system.

SATA is probably going to become the new standard for cables replacing the parallel Ultra cables that are used by most floppy, hard drives and CD/DVD drives now. The first models are slighty faster than the best Ultra (1.5 MB/Sec transfer rates) and they are supposed to quadruple in speed over the next few years. They are also much thinner than the 40-pin ribbon cables, are hot swappable and can be longer too giving you more flexibility inside a computer case.

Very nice setup. Wish I had something even close.

For the geeks, you can check this site.

EDIT: Found a better link for SATA info.
