i was just wondering which would be better 2 put in a 4os shield against fc zons and fohers, orts or los.

Lo if you have stacked resistance.
Ptopz(for shield) if you don't. Ptopz gives 40 LR, more than Ort.

Or you could do one Lo, 3 Ptopz. With Tgods, you'll have 95 Max LR, and 120 LR.

I was just pondering this same issue last night w/ my barb. Lo's are very pricey to be using as backup item in my stash. Although, I'm seeing tons of v/t's out there. And fc has become the un-skilled player's skill of choice. The Lo's are more handy for fc as they don't have a lot of light res reduce (maybe -50ish w/ tstrokes, facets, griffs), but they have high dmg. Now foh could be accompanied by LR reduction around -200 light res depending on the amount of facets they're using. I'm gonna prolly have an 3ort 1Lo Monarch w/ my tgods and ort'ed kiras. That'll give +15 to max light res and 190 add'l light res. If it takes more than that, then I'll just leave. Although, i'd rarely get all this gear out, unless i'm being bm'ed pretty badly.

fc zon is ezely negated by using tgods+ fortitude
you can also opt for ort kiras+ tgod
for against v/t tgods+enigma+ort kiras. it is also good to have some 20/11 and 1-2 5/11 lr scs in inv.
