Didnt one of these come out a really long time ago, I think i even saw it here when someone posted it.

cool nonetheless, but all those hotkeys for games and such dont seem of much use. whoever buys this kind of keyboard is already "hardcore" and i doubt he/she would even bother looking down at the keyboard for hotkeys that they've used for ages on their favorite games/software.

You're going to spend $200 on a keyboard? Ick.

Good grief, what a waste of money. I don't even like internet keyboards...

agreed, i like my plain 101 key keyboard, big backspace, \ key, and small enter key, no internet buttons here

    I was likewise disappointed.

this is the first time it's being produced. the concept was thrown out there a while ago, along with a few pictures, and geeks have been lusting since.

they're going to take out the extra function keys on the side though. shame.

    ah.

i still think its kind of pointless to have it for games, i mean when youve played a game/used a program enough to want a keyboard with lights, you probably know the hotkeys by then.

I have pretty much the same key config on every game anyway. And if you have enough time to take your eyes off the screen and look at the keyboard you're clearly just starting out anyway.

This is like your third thread about this, KOW? :azn:
It's cool, but I couldn't justify the cost.

    *shifty eyes*

I know no one actually needs this keyboard, you should be able to touch type anything you need. I want it for the customization and geek factor. I know I can remap my keyboard to react differently depending on my front program. . . I do for most of mine. I like that this gives a visual representation though, it would be easier to teach someone an app with lots of shortcuts with this thing.

Again, I know it is mostly useless, but I want one. If nothing else I would have a screen saver running on it the whole time I type. Maybe light up as I type and then fade away a second after.

I didn't say I'd be buying one now, I'll wait for them to be under 150$.

I had to shop around for ages to find a completely standard 101 key (or whatever it is) keyboard - there were so many internet keyboards and keyboards with extra buttons like Power and Sleep, which do nothing but piss me off when I accidentally hit them.

I want a Matias Tactile Pro, but I played with one and it was a bit too noisy to use at the office. Maybe for home use.

    Very nice.

I don't have the need for it, but if I were a serious gamer and wanted complete customization of my keyboard, that's what I would go with.
