Opinions anyone?

I am planning on making a Pure Fire PvP Trapper,now,before i get told that they suck,realize that with mb and the rate at which they hit unless you have godly fhr you aren't goin nowhere,this is for owning pubbys mostly) and if you have perf gear you can do around 3k fire dmg.
First off im no fool with sins,they are my favorite class so yeah..im just looking for opinions on this particular setup.
I haven't decided if i will have dr gear in stash and put some points in fade to be able to switch to full dr trapper so ill just put it without that in mind,although i will most likely include it when i make this sin.
I plan on going c/c.

weps-2x 2os +3traps +3 wake of fire fools mod with +dex/ias jewel -req +res jewels in one and +dex/ias jewel and +str +res jewels in other

helm-nooo clue lol..was thinking shako or coa..with fire facet(s) in either..definitly coa if im going switch dr..and before you guys call me a nub for having fire facets i KNOW that the full effect of the facet doesnt work but the -res will.

Armor-Enigma(if youre wondering why chnge the pass on your acct then forget it.)

boots-treks most likely..str vit fhr whut more could ya want?

gloves-mages or wizzies if i decide to go non legit..but i doubt i will so mages

1soj 1 rare 10fcr tri res +life+mana ring

for a belt ill use arachs most likely and like i said before if im planning on using fade to switch against melee then ill have perf dungos in stash.

20fcr+traps ammy with res and +life/mana if i can get it

3to traps 20fcr +res 20s circ with 2 facets in it

9trap gc with fhr

the rest will be 20vit scs

for stats i was thinking
str-none
dex-hopefully none..well see whut the req is on the claws

max wake of fire and all synergies
enough in wep block to hit around 60%block with claws so about 16 points or so depending on gear
1warrior
1 master
1psi hammer
1cloak
rest in mb or some more in master..havent decided yet..

well its three in the morn and this is just off the top of my head..so yeah..well..any opinions?

The minus res on facets does not work either for the exact same reason the +%damage doesn't work. Fool's has no use on a trapper and IAS on the off-hand claw doesn't do anything.

Why do you want dex jewels in your claw when claws are the only piece of equipment in your gear that require dex?

Your circlet doesn't exist (Rares can only spawn with +2 to a tree).

Also, I'm pretty sure Wake of Inferno (and perhaps Wake of Fire too) is bugged and only does about 1/3 of the listed damage.

read some guides on pure trappers and ghost builds. you'll find many fixes to your proposed build.

Claws: Use 2/3 claws instead of 3/3. Your traps won't be highly damaging either way, and the extra +2 to your Mind Blast/Weapon Block/Fade/Shadow Master are much more important. You need to reach 9 frame trapping as well, so do the appropriate research on what your socketing will be.

Helm: Shako is much better than Crown. Your DR should be just fine, since at level 90 you have 102 points, you can definitely achieve a high Fade.

Boots: If you can't get some tri res rares or some realm dupes, then Treks are the best.

Rings: One needs to be a Raven. Without a Cannot be Frozen mod, you're done. I assume you already know this and just forgot.

Facets: They don't work. Yucky.


Skills:

Wake and synergies
1 in each Shadow except Venom
Rest in a nice split between Mind Blast and Fade



With 2 from each claw, 2 from helm, 2 from armor, possible 2 from Amulet (you should really get a +sin one), 1 from belt, 1 from Battle Command, 3 from Torch, and 1 from Anni, you get a total of +16 from all your gear. That puts you at a 56% weapon block, which I think is just fine. With lower damage traps, you really want a high level Mind Blast and a strong Fade to keep you going. You're pretty much replacing Venom/Claw Mastery/DTalon/etc points from a WW/Kick with the Fire trap portion of the skill set.

That's my recommendation. You won't be the best in 1v1, but you could be very helpful in a team, since if you're good and you lock someone up they won't be living much longer.
