Don't be deceived.

No-one *ever* talks in OP D2X to the best of my knowledge.

I have never entered that channel while it was empty, always 4 or 5 other people in there and never ONCE has anyone had the courtesy (or physical presence) to respond to a greeting.

If you are an old school d2'er, you may be surprised and bump into some friends in "coop", which is where the regular "Cooperative Players" Channel group hang.

Your knowledge is faulty, I went afk for an hour there just now, and NOT COUNTING f list game joining notification there was almost enough text to fill the screen!

Thats basically calling me a liar. Simply because *your* experience differs from mine doesn't make my observations incorrect.

However, I'll grant the point that my post didn't explicitly state that it was merely from "my observations and my opinion".

Its obviously a timing thing.

I was able to find somebody to play in the channel. Unfortunately they died TWICE at around level 9 or 10. Still, it was fun. I do think most people just camp out in the channel though. Guess I can have a laugh poking them with sticks.

i always greet people when i'm in d2x.. even though i know its a AFK channel. but youre right not a lot of talking goes on in there.. i miss gat-east

you can basically blame battle.net for no one being around in the channel because of the dumb lobby garbage. When people arent afk they are never in channels now so basically your usually in a channel when your afk.

But tell your friends about op d2x its startin to get big. Mayb we can get some priv legit baals up soon or sumtin.

yes, channels are mostly used to afk in. if you really want to get a game going, try this: post ur acct name in the chan WHILE everyone is afk. chances are, as soon as they stop afking they might respond
