Well, at first I was gone as the forum was a bit weird, then I got the cold :yuck:.

It was either a head cold or the flu, not too sure. For me, when it comes to colds, I am sick for at least a week and up to a month for all the symptoms to be completely gone.

Yes, the forums were a bit wonky for a bit.

I'm recovering from a cold myself. Never got too bad though, I got some medicine as soon as I felt it coming on which helps.

Yeah, I did not realize at first that I was really coming down with anything and the first medicine I took actually made me feel worse.

*adds another medicine to list to never take again* =_=.


Maybe it's the time of year, last year I got sick with the flu around the end of December, but at least I was good to go (sorta) in time for the New Year's Eve party arty:.

Yea, it is that time of the year for sure.

My daughter got the flu a few days ago, I hope no one else catches it. She had a flu shot too, lot of good that did!

I got a head cold last week too!! im feeling better though! Still sniffly, but im sniffly all year round because of allergies and i live in a smoggy city.

poor Marahumm, though. i think he's coming down with something.

Hope Mara feels better too!

She is fine now, it was pretty much a 24 hour thing. Kinda sucks at the time, but it's nice to not be sick for a week.

Is it weird that I did not have allergies growing up, but I have them now? :scratchchin:

Speaking of allergies, what is a good way (besides the ole vacuum) to get dust out of the air? Was sitting at the computer, sun in my eyes (why I had to log off >_>) and all this dust was floating around me =_=.

Yea, I'd say to change ye old air filter in ye old furnace. But maybe you don't have a furnace :dontknow:

Seriously though, I think there is a filter for the AC/heater and it is changed every 3-6 months? maybe a year at most :nod:.

As for dusting...well...*looks around*...:rolf:...oh...okay...*wipes tears*...maybe one of these days. Lazy-ness too powering today :jig: :flip: :jig:.


Really not sure about a furnace though, maybe my grandma has one at her house? :scratchchin:

okay, do you have a central unit or a window unit?

window unit= in the summertime, there's a little AC box you can set in your window and turn it on and voila! Cold air!

central unit= you touch your thermometer for the house and it's on, like, all year round and there are vents in the ceiling that blow cold air (or hot air in the winter)
